I am still waiting for Cinny Jimmybon to tell us all who will be the possible favorites over LL, Ono, Blaze, SVN, Duke/Kasak, MM, Hains, Barr in the NCAA ...?? -
I don't know of any specifics, but he talked recently about having nerve and stinger issues. Plus he had surgery late last year for his hand/fingers I believe. Now maybe he's fully healed and I sure hope so, but it just seems like he hasn't been right since he won Worlds. Couple all that with the time off and I just don't feel like we'll see peak Vito at Final X. But I'm 100% speculating and that's not fair, should have clarified that.

Kasak is a hoss but imagining him going from 141 to 165 would be pretty crazy. That being said he seems pretty big for 157 so maybe thats in the cards.

I am not saying Duke is better than Kasak. Kasak honestly should have won NCAAs in March...not sure why he looked so lethargic against Blaze. But two years in a row finishing 3rd means he needs to take a year off and really refine his game and finish out his career with 2 titles and a Hodge. Duke is ready now, plug and play, shirt Kasak makes the most sense. -

Why audit the IRS? What are we gonna save from that? I dont care if they do, but it's not gonna save jack squat. Yes, more audits on the tax cheaters are needed. Funny how the wingers want to audit the US govt but limit auditing of the sus tax returns. More winger hypocrisy. A dime a dozen. -

Transitive property is not a good metric especially in different styles but I think Kasak wrestled Taylor much better than Duke did. I would also say duke is a bit better at freestyle than he is at folk. Kasak did wrestle Taylor before he went on a heater so he could just have more confidence and be a better wrestler now. All that to say I am not penciling in PJ to start like I was a month ago. -
What in the world are you babbling about. The Stanford Review itself wrote about this

He is currently 19. For the record, freshman Josh Barr is 21. Barr may be older than Haines. When I was 21, I was headed into my senior year of college. It is all by the rules, but I find it quite interesting. -
Most overtly religious NCAA wrestler?

You are forgetting the Kasak in that equation

what do you consider rich? have you memory holed that they were keeping track of $600 transactions? but again, you just let the point sail over your head they want to audit us, not be audited by those meddling kids -
Meaning wearing gear about JESUS, GOD, etc....praising God, giving All Glory to God, etc in post match speeches. Big social media presence re religion. My winner is Aaron Brooks, but other nominees Alex Marinelli, David Carr, Wyatt Hendrickson, Greg Kerkvliet, Kyle Snyder...who else am I missing?

Joey may have 2-3 years of u23 eligibility left I think he was an 18 year old freshman and never used a RS. I am really interested if after levi graduates this year if we see MM go up and perhaps Joey joins his brother to wrestle 165 at PSU. If Duke can hold 157 its a pretty seemless fit because James can red shirt and then go 165.

All data shows that IRS agents are a good investment. They bring in more revenue by busting tax cheaters than they cost, given recent staffing ranges. The only real reason to cut IRS staff is to let more of the rich wingers to get away w hiding their money and cheating on their taxes. It's that simple. -

So DT won't be calling, as I said. DT is limited to an average of 3 guys per weight. This includes starters, backups, redshirts, etc. -
I'll take a stab. First, I agree with the spirit of what you are saying but it is a little too Disney. The founding fathers had different perspectives and many disagreements. The claim that we are not a Christian nation would've not held true in the 1700's. What the founding fathers all agreed on is that we should not be a theocracy. Many during that era were very suspicious of Methodist and Quakers for being loyalist to the British empire. You can say the battle that was happening at that time was within the different sects of Christianity itself. Second, we were very much a "white" country for whites. So much so that even later in the 1800's we set up schools to turn Native Americans into "whites" and disown their "savage" customs and heritage.

HUGE Announcement from Dake!

Oh, I have plenty of takeaways: 1. The first permanent colony was Jamestown. It had nothing to do with religion and everything about making money. 2. The separatists were members of the Church of England who wanted out. That is how they eventually ended up over here. They didn't particularly care for what you would call "separation of church and state." 3. There is no direct connection between the separatists and independence from Britain. 4. Our forefathers DID NOT envision a diverse group of ethnicities and religions, especially if you are calling the Separatists our forefathers. I love the way things worked out, but I don't think Governor Bradford would be. I could keep going...
