  1. Past hour
  2. The MSM and its hatred for Trump cause them to lie for their agenda. You just so choose to ignore it.
  3. I think the funding opportunities were the determining factor in the last "golden age". Living the Dream fund, RTCs, the development of different media coverage making sponsorships and youth camps more profitable - All things that made the business end possible for our professional athletes. We can't know how well some of our guys would have done after their single Olympic cycle post college. I'm just happy to be decades past reading about it in a printed magazine. The future sure looks bright! It'll be interesting to see how the next generation navigates all the new opportunities. I'm aware of being old fashioned when it comes to loyalty. I could make an argument correlating loyalty to success, but I'm not invested in defending it. There is something to be said of the college years, though. JB was loyal to Nebraska and Manning. DT to PSU and Cael. Dake to Cornell and Snyder to tOSU, at least for those formative years. And, when those guys did move around, it didn't always correlate to more success, although that could have been more an issue of age - Perhaps with the exception of Dake who...well, never mind. Anyway, I'm curious to see how the young guys navigate these formative years in the age of NIL. I'll never argue against free markets....But, I have experience with 20yr-olds and their cognitive development that makes me cautious about seeing them chase money around. I hope they can develop into men that win Senior titles, and I suspect that it will depend on their investment in the programs they end up in.
  4. If we need to hand over land to somebody based solely upon their ethnoreligion, we should do it here. Including your property. Hand it over to them.
  5. Wow you are clueless. Enjoy your wokester kool aid there skippy
  6. But it’s not dumb when he calls everyone a nazi or fascist??? Got it.
  7. Equal rights under One state would eliminate the Jewish people from being in Israel. But you already know that and don’t care.
  8. The two sports aren't really all that similar. Baseball is disproportionately impacted by luck. There's a reason why the last ~50 years you've pretty much only seen Iowa, Okie State, Penn State, Iowa State AZ St, a year of Minny, OSU in there and...that's going back to Bobby Kennedy's assassination. Lets take the best Wrestler on Penn State and the best player on the Yankees(and best RHH Hitter arguably ever). What are the chances Mesenbrink is perfectly healthy and just terrible in the post-season or at least about 75% of what he is in the regular season? They're pretty low, right? Yet with Judge... they're not so low. It's been the last 5 post-seasons. So... I get what you're saying, things can change, but the best team ALMOST always wins in Wrestling. The Best team in Baseball... the most TALENTED team, most dominant team... they usually don't win. You can hit a ball 110 MPH off the bat and it gets caught or you can hit a ball 19 MPH off the bat like the '01 World Series when Luis Gonzalez singled on a blooper to CF off the greatest closer of all-time. Baseball dynasties are incredibly rare. Wrestling Dynasties are not. Also, Wrestling is not really a team game. It's an individual sport in which you just add up all the individual scores. So... not the best analogy.
  9. Outlawing any actions that are specific to the flag but not non-u.s. flags is unconstitutional.
  10. But Trip got his shock headline and a day of attention.
  11. Someone from USA won 11-0 on other mat but I can't figure out how to switch.
  12. It even states in the very first sentence of the article..."ciminalize certain actions related to burning the American flag" This is very much along the lines of libel, and yelling fire in a theatre. Free speech is protected, harming others is not. People need to stop falling for headlines.
  13. Adrian Samano (Puerto Rico) by way of Ferrum College up now. Venezuela up 1-0 on clock point at break. Clock on Ven 1-1, Clock on Puerto Rico 2-1. First takedown attempt of entire match and Puerto Rico scores with 15 seconds left 3-2 Samano and he celebrates like he just won Olympic gold.
  14. Shirley the dimocrats will say this is good for America, right? They wouldn’t be against sprucing up the paks, would they?
  15. Farmer with a push out Domician with a TD. Farmer with a TD and 2 laces. Farmer TD at buzzer Farmer 9-2 at the break Farmer point for something, it's in Spanish and I don't speak it. Farmer exposure wins 12-2 tech.
  16. https://www.panamsportschannel.org/player?id=650db5e0e4b0892675128b3b&type=live Free to watch. Register with a fake email and one is good to go. Charlie Farmer up now
  17. Read the full article in the OP and then OP can apologize for lying.
  18. I'll watch the video - and respond - as soon as I can.
  19. Don't be dumb. This e.o. would apply specifically to the flag so it would be treated differently from burning other fabrics.
  20. You're like an Fox News has been America's dominant political media presence for two decades. And they have been much more aggressively partisan than their supposed left wing peers, MSNBC included. The number of ex-Fox News employees in Trump's current administration is unprecedented, and I'm not even sure whether Hegseth is the most ridiculous example. No wonder the dipshit can't even begin to do his job (his unsecured text chats during the Iran missile strike being the most egregious) Regarding the examples of "MSM corruption" cited in this thread, only the 60 Minutes edit is even suggestive of left wing media partisanship, and I haven't watched that video yet. I'll comment on it more definitively this afternoon. As mentioned previously, the ABC and CBS settlements actually illustrate this administration's concerted effort to silence its critics however possible. The underlying facts of neither case are indicative of media partisanship, and despite your claims to the contrary, context matters. Meanwhile, the Dominion v. Fox News defamation trial actually exposed the exact sort of corruption you mention. While consistently, and continually claiming on-air that Biden stole the 2020 election, pundits including Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson and Jesse Whatever (among others) acknowledged in emails that they knew such claims were patently false. They knew Trump's stolen election claims were complete bullsh!t, and constantly mocked him in emails to each other, while unashamedly lying to the American public every night. I do agree that individual investigative journalists are almost universally left leaning, but they have no incentive to lie in the manner you claim. Not only are the legal teams at CNN, NYT et al. extremely cautious, their owners certainly aren't left leaning. Finally, the American public seems to be much more centrist than left leaning, with at least 30-40% are firmly on the right. Given those demographics, why would any media outlet act against its own interests in the manner you claim?
  21. U.s. doesn't generally support a specific ethnicity or religion dominating a nation's government by law. We violently condemn this in "Muslim nations" but it's perfectly ok for Israel to do it though. Just more winger hypocrisy
  22. The great irony of that is the whole point of the crucifixion is to extend God's grace to all humanity. Half the New Testament is an explanation of this concept. God's covenant with Israel is supplanted by his new Covenant, through Christ's sacrifice, with all people. Not to mention, the actual biological ancestors of the ancient Hebrews are the modern day Palestinians.
  23. 90% of Palestinians voted for a terrorist org. How far fetched is that rhetoric in that region?
  24. Is there not a difference between Jews and Israel? Please explain.
