Vito delaying Final X match against Jax

4:20 meaning that's why it was forgotten. I think it is a poke at reeferheads. -
Then why didn't the last administration release it? This is probably not the case. Perhaps Elon Musk's America Party will sweep the next couple elections and release the files to prove you correct.
-
This would essentially shut down gambling as a profession. What game is a 10% player edge possible? The casino industry must be freaking out. I guess you can still report net winnings per gambling session. For example if you play two $1000 hands of black jack winning one and losing the other you'd had $0 taxable income. Do the same thing a month apart and that's $100 in taxable income.
-
Don’t act like you care about the victims, you care only about anything that will give you something to cry over your ‘wingers’, all while pretending like this file didn’t sit through four years of the previous administration without going anywhere. This topic is one that the powers that be of both the right and the left are in agreement on.

4:50 is what Kozak from Flo posted. I am trying to figure out how to time it, does that mean the whistle blows at 4:50 or what? -

4:20pm? Is that the start of Flo's coverage prior to the actual bout? Because they stated 4:50pm for the start of the 1st bout: 2025 Final X Wrestle-Off: Vito Arujau vs Jax Forrest - Information ??? I do hope that it's 4:50... that will give me enough time to leave work and arrive home w/ some time to spare. IF it's 4:20 pm? It will be: D3 -
I think they’ll most likely bite the bullet at heavyweight and Robin will end up odd man out. Bush has shown alot of development and beat some really good guys last year up at weight I think he is a legit AA threat at 184
- Today
-
I agree about Rune, I think him being at 197 (if that is his best weight) is what is most important. Just curious how they balance that with HWT being how it is and if Robin does come back they would have 3 NQ level guys for 2 weight classes
-
Yea I agree , he definitely has the frame to build up into at true 133, I hope he’s really locked in for his last season and finally gets it done
-
For a couple duals yes I can imagine that scenario but not for the season, Runes development will be a big deal this season so risking bumping him up to heavyweight a bunch of times while trying to build his confidence at 197 is a tricky thing to balance…Who knows maybe Rune gains 40 pounds by October and fills the hole at 285 naturally I read a post awhile back on the West Virginia forum that mentioned it’s not 100 percent Robin will be back next season
-
I agree with you but from everything I’ve heard the plan is Gill 125 and Jett 133. It may be just too unhealthy for Jett to make that cut again for even half a season
-
I kind of agree, but I also get that it is just too much of a cut. He did pretty good at 61kg for u23s. He took 2nd and only lost to Nic Bouzakis. I think that if he takes the full offseason to fill out 133 and can avoid off-mat distractions, he will be much better at 133 than he was last year. I could see him making a midseason decision to go down to 125 if he feels that is a better spot for him
-
None of those things are even close to being true. Hate on a 17 year old all you want, creating $HlT out of thin air shows more about you than him and the process.
-
To be fair to Strick, I don't think we saw peak performance him at 133lbs last season. I think he was intentionally light because he was on descent, which also means his strength/speed was going to be lacking. I think 140lb Strick, cutting to 133lbs is much different.
-
If I'm Tim Flynn and co. (and if I'm Strick for that matter), I'm cutting him back down to 125. He was a hair away from the podium and is a title threat at 125. At 133 he's shown to be much less than that.

The Bassets had no issue asking Iowa to break the rules regarding training and payments for flights etc - I doubt they will have issues asking for under the table "NIL" money to skirt the rules
-
Several things have to happen before he commits. 1. A sign from above. 2. His parents have to agree on NIL and Booster monies offered, with a clause he will always be the highest paid wrestler. 3. His dad needs to secure a coaching position in the program. 4. It is a package deal with his brothers and parents.

HWT is such a blackhole- do you think there is any chance Robin gets in the lineup again and they bump one of him, Bush or Rune to HWT (at least for some duals)? I know it would be a little crazy to do it for the year, but it might be their best chance of not giving up major bonus at HWT

Here is my guess for the fighting Tim Flynn’s of West Virginia 125- RS Freshman Louie Gill (14-3 last year as a RS at nc state) 133- Sr. Jett Strickenberger (2023 NJCAA national champ ,Big 12 champ, 2x NQ, R12 last year) lost in OT in ncaa quarterfinals and blood round, struggled at 133 last season 141- Sr. Jordan Titus (3x NQ , 11-18 last year) 149- Sr. Willie McDougald ( 3x NQ, R16 in 2022, 21-8 last for Oklahoma) 157- RS Soph. Ty Watters ( NCAA 4th in 2024 , 6-0 last year with 2 wins over AAs before injury , should be considered a legit contender at 157 this year) 165- Either RS Sr - Caleb Dowling (9-7 at 157 last year) or RS Freshman Shawn Taylor (13-5 in redshirt last year ) 174- RS Jr. Brody Conley ( 13-8 last year , injuried late in the season and med FF out of big 12s, NQ in 2024) 184- RS Jr.- Ian Bush (NQ 21-13 up at 197 , beat 3 AAs total last season ) 197- RS Fr. Rune Lawerence ( 18-7 as a redshirt last year) biggest recruit in the Flynn era and has a lot of expectations around him 285- a black hole that will be filled with either RS Soph Wilson Spiries (4-10 last year, 9 of those loses by bonus) or True Freshman Brock Kehler…this weight will be a problem all year again , I know they went hard after Catka and a few other guys but West Virginia as a university has banned all big donors from donating to all sports other then football and men basketball so not much NIL money in Morgantown to bring in transfers

It's straight out of the pro wrestling/UFC playbook. Definitely a long play but if it brings in viewers and creates growth then so be it. Otherwise the wrestling audience remains net-neutral.
