Each a win away from making their first senior team together. And they’re looking goooooood.

Seriously, you two should put the phone down for awhile. Enjoy time with those families you say you have. Or heck…if you haven’t heard… There’s a pretty big wrestling tournament this weekend you could follow. Just a thought. For your mental health…

I thought about throwing my hat in the ring in masters B and I just watched some matches and was surprised how intense it looked and then decided otherwise....

Coming from someone who has produced this info a couple times in the past, I always struggled with finding ample information to make my own determination of where someone should be from. It feels easier to accept their submitted "hometown" even if they have different ways of how they may characterize that. Thank you @Jason Bryant for this breakdown.

6 AAs in D1 is more than a down year for PA. It's easily their all-time worst over the last several decades. It's rare for PA to dip below 10, and I can't a recall a time they had fewer than 9. To be sure, some of the counting is a bit suspect. (Lilledahl I get, but Bartlett? Usually, spending all 4 years of high school at a given state makes you "from" that state for counting purposes.) But mostly it is just bad luck. PA lost a bunch of guys in the blood round. They also had a bunch of hammers redshirting/injured (e.g. Arrington, Welsh, Crookham, Watters), not to mention Sasso getting shot. They only lose Starocci, so I expect they'll be back in double digits next year.

Dake’s primary struggle is with really long names. That’s why magomedkhabib takatani and daichi kazimeghomedov had such success against him. They hid behind the length of their names, and found technical weaknesses in areas dake assumed he was invincible in. Considering that cowboy wrestlers just did the same thing x2 at ncaa’s, I would expect similar technical growth from valencia. He’s already looked world’s better now that he’s away from those arizona summer snowstorms.

I’m pretty sure he was at Owatonna.
-
Like mentioning, he's rumored to be going to Ohio State...
-
Understood.

Beast, being a Cowboy is still salty about that B12 shared title. There are only a few schools that can talk sh ite on a school that has seven titles. And he's a cantankerous lil' devil...
-
Where did he go to high school? I want to say Jackson County or whatever they were called then?
-
It's impossible to be original when the jokes write themselves.

My thoughts are quite similar to Window12's but also I feel that he has matured a lot within the last couple years. He isn't making the same mistakes he was a couple years ago and he is physically more developed for 125kg than previously. In saying that Zare has a point to prove after loosing the olympic gold but I think the momentum is in Masoumi's favour.

John Hildebrandt from Drexel to Sacred Heart. Braxton Appello has been good for Sacred Heart at 133 so I would guess Hildy goes 141 -

Everything you got. And everything you can borrow. Thank me later. -
This is loosely answered in the NWF topic. Are you suspended from NWF or what is preventing the navigation? The absence of a NWF is half the reason the old forum was terminated…

I wouldn't disagree. I believe at 24 Zare hasn't reached his peak yet. I also believe Massoumi is a force.
-
I saw that high school junior Everest Leydecker is in the finals at 55kg.

Two in the final... Otto's spent about three or so minutes on the mat.... And as nhs mentioned Max gets Miranda... Good stuff... Bey with no hair is still throwing dudes all over the mat.... Koontz / Raney final... Great wrestling... (Didn't read the second page before posting. If I repeated anyone, good post.)

Massoumi’s results have been on an upward trajectory and he seems to be entering his senior era although Zare’s strengths are his gas tank and comparatively higher experience which may still seem him through. It feels like it will be closer than previous occasions but also too close to call for me personally.
