There is a Civil War/Paradigm Shift Happening

I contend we have always been this divided. It is just now out in the open. Recent leaders have given people permission to be their true selves in public. -

In short, pressure from Italian-Americans. As it relates to becoming a federal holiday, stemming from NYC Italian-Americans. But where it really started gaining steam nationally, can kind of think of it as a sort of reparations for Italian-Americans who were treated not so kindly as being thought of being loyal to Italy during WW2 -
First, they shut down the whole forum; then, a week or so later, they brought it back, less off-topic. Dreamy was in rare form and started spewing crazy stuff. SGallen then jumped in on her side, and all the usual suspects (almost all those in that song) just started roasting them. The two opposing groups (BB, Sparky, etc., all with Dreamy and SGallan), had it out. I went to bed after a few hours. I woke up, and everything was gone lol. I do not know what was the final straw, but I am sure it was a culmination!

There are clearly two sides in America, and maybe even globally (I suspect the latter). Call it a Civil War, Ideology War, Religious War, or a flat-out Paradigm shift, things are going to be very different in the next 10 years. I worked in Politics for my first 10 years of my career, as an Aide in the State Senate for a Democrat. I also served on two gubernatorial panels. In those 10 years, I never saw the anger and Visceral behavior I have seen in the past few years. Nor have I ever seen so much lying and criminal behavior, without a single worry of consequence. The right has a strong agenda of what they claim is giving America "back to the people", but I question that on many levels. I currently live in Florida, the capital of crazy, weird sh@#. People who claim to be "for the people and freedom" (DiSantis) create more laws and restrictions than I have ever seen. He is not for freedom; he is for doing things his way. They go too far in one direction to compensate for how far another state goes in the opposite direction. Makes no sense. He banned books in school that I don't think kids should be reading. However, if you ban a book because you don't like it, you should also listen to the issues people have with it. That is a simple example, but I am telling you, we need fewer laws and more meaningful ones; what we really need is accountability, not legislation. Now, on the left, the biggest red flags I see, and that also have me concerned, are that people go into fight or flight when they are threatened. I am talking about the higher-ups, not the plebeians. The anger, hate, and promotion of violence is insane to me; you only do that when you feel the system you built and profit from us being threatened. Whatever that may be, they are running scared. This goes way beyond if you want to identify as a unicorn or a dinosaur. They lie to our faces, despite clear video evidence, and do so without impunity. The real losers in this fight are middle Americans, the people who truly want to go to work, pay their bills, raise their kids, watch their sports, concerts, or plays, have a steak now and again, and enjoy a few beers or tea at night. They want a fair system, not a perfect system; they don't want to be told what to believe, how to think, or how to spend their time and money. They don't want perfect. These two sides keep dividing us, violence keeps rising, and we are seeing more anger. This is not, nor will it ever again be, the world most of us (over 40) grew up in. Interested to see where it all leads. P.S. Cake solves many problems.

I think with Vince it may have been a drop in confidence, some guys can’t handle taking some loses in college while they figure it out and I always assumed that was the case with Vin. With Anthony who knows ,maybe he had an injury last year that we didn’t know about , I hope he finds his way back into the lineup -

A few weeks ago, we posted an article highlighting the ranked wrestlers who have already committed to wrestle at the next level and have registered to compete at the Super 32. Well, there’s been a ton of movement on the recruiting front since then, so we needed an update. There have been plenty of new commitments and a few flips in the interim. With so much talent headed to Greensboro, North Carolina for the tournament, it seems appropriate to look at the tournament from a collegiate perspective. Which squads have the most talent in the 2025 Super 32? We’ve combed through the entries and separated wrestlers via their future homes. The numbers next to a wrestler's name are their ranking within their respective recruiting class. Incentivizing graduation rate would degrade academic integrity. Instead, incentivize schools to produce financially self-sufficient graduates. E.G. Based funding on the percentage of graduates who are not enrolled in government assistance programs within 12 months of graduation that are also paying income taxes. -
