The Freestyle State had fewer people at it than an early season Tournament. And I Wrestled things like Northern Plains in Iowa and... I don't know, lots of tournaments in Iowa. They didn't pack the place for Freestyle. Kids weren't coming off the Lake to drive 2-3 hours to watch me Wrestle Freestyle.. but there were an awful lot to watch Folkstyle. I really don't think most of my HS friends or friends of guys on other teams cared much. They just wanted to come... get drunk and watch Wrestling.

A little more backstory is that he took Gold at the U23 Pan Am Champs at 86 KG a little while before that. He beat the guy in the finals 8-0 who beat Jaxon Smith 4-2 (putting Smith in repechage). So he's pretty good.
