He’s not whining, he’s bringing the recent news that one of the things the former first lady considered a hardship while she was in the White House was that they had to pay for their own food and travel expenses for their kids. You probably didn’t see that on MSNBCPMSNOW. It was from her podcast, where she frequently disparages her husband and discusses her need for therapy, seen by many as her Woe Is Me production.

you can't make a statement like that without knowing how much they are being paid. Apparently you think they just fetch for our amusement. -

there are MMA guys that fight 3-4 times a year if not more and will take short notice fights or have guys pull out that essentially invalidates a 8 week camp, not to mention most of them are cutting 25-40lbs during camp. I think these guys can definitely show up a few extra times per year to slightly inflated weight classes that have night before weigh ins. -
Brooks story: True or False?
BruceyB replied to Interviewed_at_Weehawken's topic in International Wrestling
CP said on FRL that the latest he's heard was that Brooks and NLWC are anticipating a 3 year suspension which they will then appeal to attempt to have it reduced. Apparently when you "accidentally" break USADA's rules 3 times you don't get the benefit of the doubt. -
That was a lot of words to say no you won't stop whining.

We really need to stop the narrative with how "hard" it is to for these senior level guys to compete. They make scratch weight like 3 times between April and September and half of them don't compete more than a couple of other times during the other 7 months out of the year. IMO guys don't compete more because the travel to most overseas tournaments is pretty brutal if you coming from the Americas which likely makes guys not want to do it more than once or twice a year, and also you had the stalwarts of USA wrestling winning gold medals by using the minimal competition method. Personally, I can't imagine just practicing every day and only getting to actually compete 2 or 3 times a year. I'd think having a one-off match would be more invigorating for a world teamers training than disruptive. -
Honest question, since you are citing the video you posted, and speaking from the standpoint of “watching all of it”. Did you watch the full interview, or even that full segment of the interview, before posting your edited 28 second clip, part of that 28 seconds of which isn’t even off the interview but added clips from unrelated material?

Baltimore. I live in a suburb currently, but I wouldn’t call it Lilly white. It’s about 20% black or Hispanic.

I think the hiccup is signing a professional contract, which even without pay may be an issue. The thinnest veil of amateurism apparently still exists. -
So you think you’re ten feet tall and bulletproof, but you realize the place is dangerous and your family would be vulnerable?
-
I’m not the one whining. Michelle is. It’s in the video I posted. Did you watch all of it ?
-
Yes and also convince a number of people to talk to reporters about the misdeeds of that person. If there is nothing to this, please tell me if Carter is currently training with NLWC?
-
It is a low bar

I'm sick of these onlyfans girls just waking up deciding to fabricate a wide variety of crimes and misdemeanors to pin on a random person.

I honestly think you won’t name the “prior scary city” because it wasn’t a scary city. And you definitely won’t name the current city because it’s a Lilly white affluent elite rich kid suburb. Prolly on the east coast.
-
Tell that to all the innocents victim of violent crime and poor policing policies
-
It doesn't matter. It is common amongst the PSU faithful to remind us that Syd Bartlett has an OnlyFans and this means that Carter has to be innocent.
- Today

I promise to answer the question if you promise to stop whining if I do. Agreed?

i wasn't comparing the act, i was giving an example of a satisfying non statement.

If it was just me, I would absolutely take Miller up on his offer of getting paid to live next to gang members. Since you’ve now brought illegal immigrants into the conversation, I might as well mention that when I lived in one of the scary cities, I actually lived in the Hispanic area (who mostly kept to themselves), and about 2 blocks away from some seriously high-crime areas. Obviously there is always risk, but as I’ve said previously, there is far less risk of something happening to you or your family if you’re not a gang member or buying/selling drugs (although of course innocent family members can fall victim because of what their family is involved in). Me personally I never had any issues when I lived there, in fact my worst neighbor was the WT next door.

Brooks story: True or False?
Interviewed_at_Weehawken replied to Interviewed_at_Weehawken's topic in International Wrestling
I did a little research this morning. Granted, others may do better research, but I was unable to find any official USADA press release about Brooks positive test or suspension. Also, his name is not yet on the list of athletes sanctioned by USADA- a list that includes the substances and consequences. Now, maybe he did foolishly test positive for Wegman's DHEA, but we are also dealing with a couple unreliable sources here. I'd say that it is in the realm of possibility that the substance wasn't purchased at Wegman's. -
I seem to remember reading an article about the situation somewhere... Also, not sure it has been fully resolved. Pyle hinted at this the other day.

My son wanted a seafood brunch so we’re out to get crab legs. Shrimp. And whatever else looks good
