  2. Wish Gable would do what he was born to do so we could possibly run the table in the upper weights
  3. What Americans really think about political violence 87% of Americans say political violence is a problem. 25% of Very Liberal citizens think that violence is justified to achieve political goals compared to 3% of Very Conservative citizens. https://today.yougov.com/politics/articles/52960-charlie-kirk-americans-political-violence-poll
  4. Just curious what everyone thinks could be USA's potential freestyle lineup come 2028 Olympics as we stand now.....
  5. Similar to Okie State situation. I get kids need to go compete and earn their way in and that not every kid will make it (injuries, life etc) but man some of these room battles are crazy and are 3 legit AA threats deep. Increased Scholarship limits plus NIL have definitely changed things. When teams had 9.9 and no roster cap along with no NIL, kids getting one hundred percent scholarship was like almost never a thing. Now it’s seems in some way to be the standard for the highly touted kids. Also, for kids no harm no foul, they can always portal quicker if they cannot make the lineup etc much easier than the past. Different times for sure. Who knows where it goes or if and when rules change again.
  6. That word is hilarious. Here's a quick AI answer. As of September 2025, far-right activist Laura Loomer is not a formal White House adviser but is widely considered one of President Donald Trump's most influential unofficial advisers. Her influence has been demonstrated through her involvement in the firing of administration staff and her direct access to the president. Influence on personnel decisions National Security firings: In April 2025, Loomer met with Trump in the Oval Office and reportedly presented a list of National Security Council officials she accused of disloyalty. Trump subsequently fired several of the individuals she identified. High-level replacements: Loomer has taken credit for identifying more than a dozen government officials who were later fired or pushed out. Her targets have included national security personnel and staff she deemed disloyal to the "Make America Great Again" (MAGA) movement. "Independent agency" vetting: Loomer has referred to her work as operating an "independent agency" to vet people within the administration and identify disloyal individuals for removal. She uses her social media platform to publicly target officials if her private warnings to the president are not acted upon. Relationship dynamics Direct access: Loomer has a direct line of communication to the president and has attended events with him, including traveling on his private plane. Presidential acknowledgement: Trump has publicly praised Loomer, calling her a "patriot" and an "amazing" woman. He has also acknowledged that he listens to her recommendations. Opposition from staff: Many Trump aides have expressed concern about Loomer's influence, and some reportedly worked to prevent Trump from giving her an official job during his 2024 campaign. White House staff have engaged in a balancing act of trying to manage her influence while keeping her at a distance. Criticism from Republicans: Loomer's public commentary has drawn condemnation from other Republicans, such as when Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene called her remarks about Kamala Harris "appalling and extremely racist". Unofficial status Despite her significant influence, Loomer has been denied an official position, which she claims is due to professional jealousy from other staff. While Trump has offered her positions, they have reportedly been blocked by others within his administration. Loomer has continued to operate as an external enforcer, using her platform to pressure the administration from the outside.
  7. Please provide the examples of people being fired, with full context of their criticism, that concerns you.
  8. Just kind of thinking of this and I know we have a pay system already set, not sure exactly what it is, but would adding more money to that, be feasible? Help promote wrestling? I know this is all contingent on funding but it seems of late USAW has added a few positions and card sales are increasing yearly it seems. So wondering if this would be possible bc revenue seems to be increasing. Proposed Olympic Pay Gold- 350k Silver- 200k Bronze- 100k Worlds Pay Sr Level Gold- 100k Silver- 60K Bronze- 30k I would add in a few things here which it will put numbers to below. Would like to see U20/U23 paid out as well along with a few other things. I have no money to fund it, sadly but just was wondering if this helps keep wrestlers wrestling at all. Would be payouts for U20 Gold- 30k Silver- 20k Bronze- 10k U23 Gold- 20k Silver- 10k Bronze- 5K Would also advocate for Sr Pan Am Champs to receive 5K if they win Pan Ams. Additionally, for the individual wrestler that scores the most ranking series points in a calendar year (one for each style) would earn a 10k bonus check. Again, not sure how that would be funded or if it can be done, but would love to see those wrestlers be able to earn a little better. Any thoughts on this? It feels like this is a lot, but just wanted to see some thoughts on it.
  9. It's just high expectations is all. Most people probably thought he had the best chance of bringing home a gold medal out of anyone on our MFS team this year. Is that a fair expectation? Maybe not, but we all know what Spencer is capable of. To his credit, it was kind of a shock that he didn't bulldoze his way through the bracket.
  10. Seems like a credible source.
  11. Trump DOES take her seriously though. She appears to be one of his closest advisors.
  12. Yes, he was in his corner for the olympics also
  13. Definitely. We were spoiled by the JB/DT/Cox/Snyder generation. Getting two first-time gold medalists, three first-time medalists, and two fifths that were ultra close to being first-time medalists--feels incredibly encouraging that we're in a good spot going forward.
  14. On that topic, Michigan has in that 133-157 range: Mendoza, Peterson, Wolbert, Sement, Hilton, and Cosby across the classes of 25/26
  15. I understand first amendment rights but Lara Loomer is constantly pushing the limits. I personally don't take anything she says seriously.
  16. Since "many" give us a reference/example.
  17. I'm still trying to determine what you meant, and you haven't been much help. Did you mean "nothing burger?"
  18. Don't know about that, but many people are calling for people to be fired for criticizing Charlie Kirk. Laura Loomer for example.
  19. World-level wrestling is hard.
  20. Man...you really need attention, huh? 3 posts saying the same thing. You got me...I used the wrong word. Congrats.
