Brennan, Clapper, and Comey directly involving themselves in producing the assessment, insisting on using junk for intelligence, mislabeling what it represented, is going to be their downfall. If you’d read the reports and releases you could make more informed posts, and maybe argue less about points that were never raised.

The whole thing with whatabouts is an inability to hold one’s own accountable. It’s much easier on the psyche to point out someone else doing wrong than to acknowledge my guy/person/group is doing wrong. We saw it in the last administration and ‘what about’ for Biden back to Trump, just like we are seeing it now with Biden and Obama. Two sides of the same coin. It’s a lot like the parent that comes in to meet the principal because their kid f***ed up. Instead of taking the steps and strategy to ensure their kid won’t make the same mistake again, it’s easier to find other kids who have done it. The problem with all these whatabouts is they won’t promote any growth or improvement in behaviors. It’s enabling. And that’s the number one political strategy these days, deflect what my party is doing wrong and look got and scream and yell what the other party is doing wrong (even if my party is doing the same d**n thing). And unfortunately many of we the people fall for it hook line and singer and flock around like parrots
