During the worst of Obama's first 100 days the S&P 500 was +0.6% During Trump's first 100 days in office the S&P 500 is -7.3% That just is the way it is. I know you do not want to believe it. You want to focus on anecdotes like what Ionel claims his portfolio has done. But it is just a fact. The stock market is down more in Trump's first 100 days than any time in recent history. Certainly more so than any of the last 9 presidents. And it is a self-inflicted wound. Trump whipsawing from one tariff whim to the other based on an incorrect formula is the reason the market is down over 7%. There is no external shock, no virus, no housing crisis, no recession, just Trump shooting us in the foot.
