  1. Past hour
  2. You're right. It was. And now it is happening again, and more. What is your opinion? Should we just laugh more about it like it is some kind of joke? I'm not in favor of it for either Biden or Trump. And, more importantly, not for our next President. Not getting on the same page. Feels like we're going in the wrong direction here. But maybe that's just me.
  3. Cry harder..
  4. I disagree that "we can only be very sad" - we can be a lot of things, none of them need be sad. Let's review comrade: Little Mike Tyson. All 5'10" and 220# of him. Let's be realistic, he could never be a great heavyweight, right? Christian McCaffrey. 5' 10'ish and a little over 200#. No way an Elite NFL running back, right? Justin Jefferson. Maybe 6' and easily less than 200#. Impossible to be the best receiver in the league, right? Becoming great is something individuals do - anyone who claims to foretell the future is foolish. Everyone can be great. If you don't believe that, you should stay far away from children. (And I mean that.)
  5. Today
  6. Agree to agree Particularly in that we can only be very sad that he hasn't taken wrestling seriously since the Olympics. But I think Bo Jackson is different in an illustrative way. He actually played baseball when he was younger and did it extraordinarily well as one of the best players in the country. The Yankees risked a second round pick on him even though they had to know he'd probably play football. Similar with Rickey Henderson, John Elway, Danny Ainge, etc., all of whom were stars in both sports before college. Gable has never been good at anything but wrestling. And he's what, 25? He's never going to be a serious athlete at any other sport, other than MMA because of wrestling. I think the world of him but am being realistic. He had literally zero chance of playing in the NFL. None.
  7. Absolutely not...
  8. C'mon man. How unsubtle do I need to be. Are you on some kind of humorless trajectory? Clue #1: It was a cold start. [Anyone else - feel free to jump in and ask questions or solve.]
  9. If you were to read my post and immediately read your reply. I would suggest that we 90% agree. My post was about "trying" rather than any kind of guaranteed success. It might do you well to reread my post. We are basically in agreement. Good thing you weren't coaching Bo Jackson. World class athletes CAN be world class in other sports. It's a fact. And, as I've previously stated, I couldn't agree more that I'd much prefer him to be wrestling. We think alike.
  10. You little Russian rascal, you. "Faux outrage" - using French does make you sound a bit cosmopolitan. except that I have no outrage, faux or other. "Discerned" - stilted while misusing basic words. That's comedically dumb. Go back to the drawing board on that one. As is obvious by now, I believe you to be a phony. A fake. A liar. And not particularly good as any of them. Just so there are no misunderstandings.
  11. Do you know what the blood round is? There isn't a guy ranked below 8 in this list.
  12. I don't think they've wrestled but I could be wrong. I imagine if they did it wouldn't have been to competitive anyways considering how good Masoumi is. The harsh reality is even if Mohammadnezhad is a top prospect unless he can beat Zare he isn't making the team. To even get to that point he has to beat Masoumi to make it to wrestle off's. What makes it ridiculous is that Zare is only 24 so it's not like these guys can just wait for him to retire he still has another 10 years in him.
  13. Peyten Kellar Brock Herman Andre Gonzalez Carter Schubert Matty Bianchi Ty Whalen
  14. Gee i wonder who this is. Playing the wrong side of history card is eerily familiar.
  15. Paybacks are a bitch
  16. AS Obama reminded us over and over again. Elections have consequences. Especially when you abused your power.
  17. It’s amazing how liberals can’t accept that this is payback for what the people running Biden did.
  18. I’ll take this over communism any day and every day.
  19. Burroughs said last year that Minto was not going to be at 165lbs for another season due to the very tough cut. Hope LJ can make the cut and still wrestle sr a high level.
  20. poopalism ... maybe @PortaJohn knows?
  21. I think he means when you weaponize your DOJ against your political opponents. You use lawfare to your full advantage. Oh, WAIT A MINUTE THAT WAS THE BIDEN ADMINISRATION.
  22. Sure thing. Anyone who misses the postseason for reasons other than poor performance (injury most likely) gets removed from the denominator. It should be the final set of matches with it being only a month away, but we will see
  23. Nezhad feels like the guy to beat at 125kg although I have not gone through all the entries yet. Did he ever wrestle Masoumi? If so was he able to stay on the mat? he is the largest 18 year old I have ever seen, I think he has a pretty bright future as well.
  24. Be specific what is authoritarian about it. Compare that to prior presidents
  25. That's a wager then. We'll come back to this in March. This won't be the final lineup, it never is, but it's a friendly wager regardless.
  26. Any chance we see Fernandez try to find himself a spot if that gap between him and Joy widens (if Joy is even above him). Meaning maybe he goes 157/165?
  27. See underline bolded... FIFY Blaze and Duke are both enrolled at Penn State, too.
