  1. Past hour
  2. Sounds familiar....... The incident occurred in 2005, when Kraft visited the Russian president in St. Petersburg not long after the Pats won their third Super Bowl title. "I took out the ring and showed it to (Putin), and he put it on and he goes, 'I can kill someone with this ring,' " Kraft told the crowd at a gala at the Waldorf-Astoria in 2013, according to the New York Post. "I put my hand out and he put it in his pocket, and three KGB guys got around him and walked out." The kicker to all this is that Kraft wanted to get the ring back but was strongly persuaded by the George W. Bush White House to let it go. "I really didn't (want to). I had an emotional tie to the ring, it has my name on it," Kraft said in 2013. "I don't want to see it on eBay. There was a pause on the other end of the line, and the voice repeated, 'It would really be in the best interest if you meant to give the ring as a present.'" So that's what Kraft did, releasing a statement describing the ring -- valued at $25,000 -- as a gift to the Russian president.
  3. Jimmy you’re truly something else. Send me a pic - I just need to see the legend behind these takes.
  4. Today
  5. If that game had been between Colorado and Inter Miami, it might not have been football - but when Chelsea plays PSG, that’s football.
  6. The Iranian wrestling commentators always say that you have to give due respect to whoever represents the USA as they will be good regardless and I think it applies to Hendrickson too. He may be even number 2 or 1 etc internationally but he is untested at that level and hopefully his future results will speak for his abilities and put my questioning things to rest in an emphatic way. I’m sure time will tell.
  7. He's the president so he has it. But to butt your way into a trophy presentation like that is just very tactless. I might understand if he was a big Chelsea fan and got carried away. Or if he had a stake in the team. But just to lurk around, and get presented a winner's medal and to take the original trophy that was supposed to be presented to the winners? How doesn't that sound like somebody who wants everything to be about him?
  8. For everyone out there - take a few breaths, relax, clear your minds, then read carefully. Trump is obviously excited to be part of a winning athletic team and excited to accept a trophy that he didn't earn. Trump, of course, has zero athletic ability and has never won a trophy in any athletic event. Doesn't his behavior (DuPont) remind you of anyone (DuPont) who was rich and had no athleticism (DuPont) at all? Yet his desire to be recognized (DuPont) as an athletic winner is off the charts crazy. (Don't forget the time Trump told Dan Gable he thought he could take him.)
  9. Because at the end of the day I think we can agree we all want to see two guys at their absolute best compete for a spot and that's clearly not what we got today.
  10. Yeah... and the guy talking about how he has not...morality(not exactly how he put it, it was MUCH harsher) could NOT stop trashing him for his recruiting updates! Now, he's NOT talking about it...AND HE'S GETTING TRASHED FOR THAT! Talk about a no-win situation...
  11. Thanks. I'm not sure why I figured Forrest would bypass U23.
  12. Your advice is to "HATE" almost all politicians everywhere in the US? Nah. You are terrorist level crazy with that post. I am familiar with many of your posts, which often suck. But this one is unacceptable. Nobody should be encouraged to learn to HATE anyone else, regardless of race, religion, career, or status. You are a worthless POS.
  13. I am typically the first or second person to heart react his stuffs.
  14. Forrest will still be going to U23s, much like Duke.
  15. Why? I have no horse in the race. I'm just thinking how good Jax will be in 2028. The more time at the senior World level the better.
  16. That’s not football.
  17. Wait. Does this mean immigrants were not eating our pets?
  18. I was replying to this, along with the rest of the same post, where you describe California as the biggest economy, biggest mfgr., and had an influx of illegals in the last three years. “Back on track,” unless you designate it as the wrong track, is saying that things are going well, but they’re not. Newsom is being sued for his egg prices, he’s preparing to raise taxes some more even after cutting healthcare for illegals. Cities are being vandalized, and law enforcement officers are being attacked. Things are getting worse. You said “back on track.” Then you try to deny saying it. Maybe you forgot, which would be understandable. You’re not fairyin your way out of this one.
  19. I am disappointed but not fooled.
  20. In 16 months Trump went from "the Epstein Files will expose the Democrats" to " the files were written by the Democrats". Kinda makes you think there are no Democrats in there after all. Oops. But Trumps? Absolutely. “Why are we giving publicity to Files written by Obama, Crooked Hillary, Comey, Brennan, and the Losers and Criminals of the Biden Administration?”
  21. 309 wrestlers entered the transfer portal (which represents about 10-11% of all D1 wrestlers) this off-season. 177 wrestlers that entered the transfer portal and changed teams 79 wrestlers that had entered the transfer portal, haven't yet found a new home, and are still on their old roster 40 wrestlers that had entered the transfer portal, and are no longer on an active roster of any team. 11 wrestlers that entered the transfer portal but decided to remain with their previous team 2 wrestlers that entered the transfer portal, but decided to move on from wrestling
  22. I doubt it. Trump will just take it with him when he leaves. As to why they gave it to him? It was intended to be short term, just on display, until the tournament was over. Trump just decided to keep it and pulled a Putin where he just said thank you for the gift. If you're the head of FIFA what are you going to do? You don't want to bruise Trump's fragile ego, because if you do it'll make things much harder next year with the World Cup. So you let him keep it, get a replica, and apologize to Chelsea behind the scenes about it. It would be like if the commissioner of the NFL let him display the Lombardi trophy and then let him keep it after the Super Bowl so he wouldn't throw a tantrum and just have another one made to give to the players. This just shows how petty, childish and egotistical he is. The Chelsea players were not liking the fact he tried to steal the spotlight from them.
  23. Well congrats to Jax, great performance. Best of luck at the Worlds.
  24. What are you talkin about?
