This does bring up a good point. Other than Downey, I can’t think of any notable MFS wrestler in recent memory that was arrested while competing on the senior level. I think Marsteller’s arrests were all in college right? Seth Gross could be another example (also in college) and he’s a big God guy too, although sure if he also was before or if he turned to God after his issues. Not sure where doping/drug violations rank on the scale with soliciting prostitutes but we’ve certainly had a few of those (Fix, Valencia, Oliver come to mind). Overall I feel like for the most part all of the above mentioned wrestlers except for probably Downey (and he’s really the only one with a repeated history of issues) have been “forgiven” by the wrestling community, so maybe we’re just a forgiving bunch.

start with who has been in such a serious situation as snyder within the usa wrestling community ? no one comes to my mind. Theres a zillion college athletes and different sports. Just within D1 college football with 100 kids on a roster, all backgrounds, some from rough neighborhoods, not all the most lawful perfect citizens. How many of those kids are getting arrested for prostitution a year ?? it doesn't really happen. It's extremely rare and hard to get caught unless your straight up trying to by being on stupid sites like backpage. And now the chick was like 60....... This gets you automatically booted from college teams, pro sports players do it on the regular, and yet they never get caught. If they did probably booted as well. The image is worse then the actuality of the crime. I have no idea how long this suspension from safesport is, but I don't see the duration of any serious length of time listed. And no one finds it odd that most mainstream wrestling reporters; all they can muster about an opinion on the matter, is just like like everyone has skeletons , forgive, bible verse bible verse. I've been saying the same thing...albeit about a different athlete. There was this Football player, set records, won a Heisman, 2,000 yards in 14 games, one of the 5 greatest backs of all-time. He says, no, no, did you hear about this guy. And I said, you mean the man who gave back as a sideline reporter, who has a genuine and affable personality, who helped a struggling actor stay at his house(in retrospect, maybe not a good move on his his behalf, but he just cared so much), who drew more eyeballs to week long drama about the ills of slavery, who became a millionaire in the NFL and made millions promoting our sport, put smiles on people's faces with Leslie Nielsen. So yeah...I heard about Orenthal James Simpson....a man of faith, a man without an addiction, who broke records, won a Heisman, elevated his sport, elevated the Buffalo Bills, gave back to his sport, brought awareness to people as an actor, brought joy to people as an actor... So if there is anything else you're talking about when discussing Orenthal Simpson, a man with a life filled with good deeds and take this one "not so good deed," and talk about anything else, then maybe the problem is you...(wow, I'm actually in awe of how deep this is) LOL...for the record, I am NOT equating OJ with Snyder...just this absurd logic.
