The Freestyle State had fewer people at it than an early season Tournament. And I Wrestled things like Northern Plains in Iowa and... I don't know, lots of tournaments in Iowa. They didn't pack the place for Freestyle. Kids weren't coming off the Lake to drive 2-3 hours to watch me Wrestle Freestyle.. but there were an awful lot to watch Folkstyle. I really don't think most of my HS friends or friends of guys on other teams cared much. They just wanted to come... get drunk and watch Wrestling.

The numbers show that they have more participants in overseas tournaments. I think more popular would be the one that gets the most attention, which I think is still MFS worldwide.

A little more backstory is that he took Gold at the U23 Pan Am Champs at 86 KG a little while before that. He beat the guy in the finals 8-0 who beat Jaxon Smith 4-2 (putting Smith in repechage). So he's pretty good.
