  2. Let me help all of you with a pretty widely accepted definition: Cancel culture is a form of public ostracism, primarily facilitated by social media, where individuals or groups withdraw support from someone (a person, organization, or idea) due to perceived unacceptable behavior or opinions. This withdrawal of support can manifest as boycotts, social or professional isolation, and public shaming. According to Merriam-Webster, to "cancel" someone means to stop giving them support. The right just uses cancel culture to boycott or withdraw support for anyone that doesn't support MAGA/Trump. Losing your job or show can be a consequence but is not the definition. So yes- if democrats are the kings of cancel culture, you guys are most certainly the queens...
  3. I really wish they would bring back the world cup and even do an A and B team. Really anything to allow these guys to show off what they work so hard for. Russia is doing a better job with the premier league it would be great if with RAF we could see more international matches outside of hoping the right guys show up to a ranking series once every 3 months.
  4. This thread fits the definition of an echo chamber
  5. So now youre comparing Afghanistan's military might to the United States? Oh my you guys will go anywhere regardless of how non-sensical your argument is...
  6. Nope. I don’t take advances. I send an invoice after I finish the job. And when I’m around children who use words incorrectly, I occasionally try to help them out.
  7. Stupid rules being unnecessarily complicated and confusing
  8. No he’s not, you are. You’re playing the same tired dimocrat strategy we’ve become accustomed to. Surprised you didn’t call him a Nazi racerist. He’s just pointing out one of the times armed citizens made a difference. Against fighters, bombers, tanks, and artillery.
  9. Today
  10. Maybe the 20 ball dates all the way back to the old syndicated radio days?
  11. Yikes. Now you are comparing US citizens to the Taliban. You really will say anything without thinking first.
  12. Or a quick google and the first two years preceding tOSU on the list were hosted by Wisconsin and Illinois haha . . . whoops; it's early
  13. Yes, I know that's much more common in the spring sports that also rotate alphabetically - due to a lack of facilities to host say Big Ten Outdoor Track or if championship weekend lines up w/ spring commencement etc. No inside info here but I could see Wisconsin historically have declined due to potential overlap w/ MBB/WBB/MIH since they would all operate out of the Kohl center (Big Ten tourney weekend for wrestling I think is opening weekend of Big Ten hockey tourney which is on campus by seed and also last week of conference basketball games)
  14. The Swiss don't have a gun culture that treats guns like toys or fashion accessories like in this country. People here largely don't respect guns. They just see them as toys and don't take them seriously. That's a part of why we have mass shootings so frequently. Guns are instruments of death. The purpose of a gun is to kill. If you don't take that seriously or believe it, that should disqualify you from ever touching a gun.
  15. I knew about the Khanievs but I thought they were Ingush. I forgot about Baitukaev he also wrestles at 70kg so it would be interesting seeing him wrestle against Eltemirov. I need to have a look at Ozdamirov and Ktsoev by the sounds of things. It's crazy the amount of talent being churned out from the Caucasus and to think the US and Iran are also producing guys that can match them is crazy. I wish wrestling had more mainstream appeal because we are truly doing a disservice to these athletes by only have 6 weight classes at the olympics and 1 rep per country.
  16. i don't think the resident lefties in this thread know what 'cancel culture' means. what liberal show got canceled because of politics as opposed to because of declining viewership?
  17. Cooperman is one of my favorite Lehigh wrestlers. Didn't make it to the scale in 2003 as a #6 at 133; He then finished his last three years at 141, placing 7-3-3 with a total NCAA record of 17-4. His 17 wins break down as follows: 4 DEC, 7 MAJ, 2 TF and 4 Falls His 4 losses: 2 LBFs (Michael Martin in 0:26 in the 2004 pigtail, and Andy Simmons in the QF as a JR); and close decisions against Nate Gallick and Teyon Ware.
  18. there were some uncertainties with compliance. namely if it would affect eligibility based on when classes start.
  19. i am not doubting that you read that. I don't believe the numbers in the original reports. 1 minute of looking reveals Sirius had about 28 - 30 million paying customers over the past 5 years. And we are to believe that over 2/3 of them tuned in to Stern every day? To say I am skeptical would be understatement https://stockanalysis.com/stocks/siri/metrics/sirius-xm-subscribers/
  20. Libtardos are mad at everything. It’s that TDS thing.
  21. There have been plenty of mass shooters connected to psychiatrists and their medications.
  22. You don’t believe that people who rape children at are pedophiles.thats fine, like i said i pray every child around you is safe because you are a creep who i suspect takes advance of children the way you defend convicted child rapists i pray nothing bad happens to your vile soul even though you deserve it
  23. Absolutely. They bastardize the statistics to tell a misleading story. Then some idiot does a copy and past and thinks he's an intellectual when in fact they're just a useful idiot
