  3. Yeah I addressed all that and nothing in this post contradicts my points, at all. Your quoted sentence was about the way they engage in public discourse, speech only, not equating speech that I don't like (which is more than just one post about the Dake/Starocci match) with bad conduct (alleged rape), which is exactly what you said I said--a giant distortion of my post. And I also said that my original post explicitly allowed for the idea that my negative gut reaction to her personality might be a result of my own curmudgeonliness and inability to engage effectively with the younger generation's standards of discourse. And I further said, in both my posts, that it's possible that that style that I don't like may end up being the key trait that makes her a hero depending on how this turns out. So, yes, there were some "harsh words," but they were tempered with self-reflection, with allowance for the potential greatness in the subject of those harsh words--and no matter how you cut it, nowhere near as harsh as claiming that someone equates speech with rape.
  4. Only some of them. Bahahahhahahahahahahhahaha.
  5. No, that's another winger lie. Only some of them, plus jobs like picking lettuce
  6. It should be, "Steel Town USA" if he's true to his moniker...
  7. You also called her noxious, said you wouldn't want to be associated with her, and wouldn't want to spend a single minute with her. Some harsh words for a woman who... What? Was happy her husband's abuser lost a wrestling match? I did not misconstrue your words. I focused on one particular part of your post that I found objectionable. Again, your quote was "I think the thing that makes it really difficult is that it seems like the big drivers of this are Ms. Bartlett and Starocci, both of whom are at best are undignified and at worst toxic people." That is equating the two people. At best she is undignified? We must have different definitions of dignity.
  8. And what "city" do you have in mind?
  9. My only question would be does Hayden want it? or does he want to settle down a little and learn at Stanford for a few years since he's bounced around a bit.
  10. We don't need anyone to elaborate on how a johnson pays bills . . .
  11. I have no idea if this is true or not but being in a city (as opposed to a town) in a place that loves wrestling would have to give them quality NIL opportunities, right?
  12. So everyone except Russia is mediocre at the middleweight, then?
  13. You took one sentence of a very long post and made a baseless claim that I was equating the two of their alleged conduct. What I was saying in that one sentence in a very long post is that they both have very aggressive public personalities that many find abrasive, argumentative, and pugilistic, and if you combine those ingredients, you get combustibility which complicates something that even without those ingredients is a very serious subject. With respect to that very serious subject, however, I was quite clear that the published allegation is that Starocci "seems to have been a renowned jerk and possibly a criminal," and I was also clear that a possible outcome of all this is that she will be a hero for having been the leading and courageous catalyst for reform. And in fact I linked the two ideas--that I don't care for what I've seen of her personality and that she could end up a hero: "but it's people like that who are often the only ones who can blow the top off an organization that has gotten out of control." And I also allowed for the distinct possibility that my personal views about what I know about her might be attributable to my narrow-minded curmudgeonism in a parenthetical "recognizing that I simply do not understand a lot of what makes that generation tick." So nothing TF is wrong with me in terms of "equating . . . speaking and . . . rape" which I plainly did not and would not ever do.
  14. In regard to the Clippers! The way I look at it has to do with perspective...I have no problem holding someone responsible for what they may have done and said in the 70's, but only by the societal norms of the 70's, not by current standards. People that were not racist at heart did and said things in the 70's that by today's societal norms would sound and seem very racist...heck watch movies from the 70's, 80's, and even the 90's and based on today's societal norms one would be like sheesh, that seems really racist; however, at the time it did not. Anyway, didn't mean to harp on the 70's thing, but I guess it is all about perspective. As I have said repeatedly, I personally don't like Trump's personality, he is brash, rude, and very arrogant; however, I am able to not look at him through a constant negative lens and perspective that some, like you, have and do. And that is fine to have one's own perspective, but I just don't like when people use that 100% negative perspective of someone to twist and turn things into claims about the person that I personally have never witness or heard the man say that I would consider "racist"...and the "proof" that some try to use is either them playing mental gymnastics to make crazy leaps , or they are using things done/said in the past and applying today's societal norms to it that when said and done at the time was not considered "racist". Anyway, just my perspective on things...everyone is entitled to their own.
  15. How did I change the topic? Using an example of the LA Clippers to explain what I was talking about?? I don’t have a requirement to state evidence, I don’t know why people act like this anonymous message opinion board operates as a court of law. I just stated there are plenty of examples of it. But to play along: settling lawsuits for housing discrimination, and then getting sued again for continuing the same practices after the settlement, could certainly be argued as evidence. That was a while ago. More recently, lying to the American people about the set up with the El Salvador prison, which has now been proven by the testimony of the Slavadorian gov’t, which included lies about minorities deported there who weren’t supposed to be and/or shouldn’t have been deported, certainly can be argued as evidence. That’s just two examples on the opposite ends of 50 years, and there are plenty of examples in between that could certainly be argued as evidence.

  20. This week we jump into the latest coaching changes as Kyle Borshoff steps down at Binghamton, Teyon Ware is hired at Northern Colorado and other spot are still TBD. We also discuss the upcoming World Team final between Vito Arujau and Jax Forrest as well as the new NCAA rule changes, our thoughts on Real American Freestyle and the potential matchup. We end on a funny note as we dig into Mark Manning's comments on the small impact that Bill Belichick's girlfriend, Jordan Hudson, had on AJ Ferrari not getting into UNC. 21. True story - OF was originally created as an outlet for content creators to directly monetize their work via subscription-based free market environment. It just so happened to be taken over by the world's oldest profession. So if anything, it sounds as if she was using it for what it was actually created for.
  22. Proceeds to state no evidence and change the topic?
  23. Think of it like Rokfin. That should clear it up...
  24. Well, there certainly is evidence, going all the way back to the 70’s, voting results and some policy decisions aside. Powerful people can certainly do things “for” minorities, but for their own personal gain, having personal disdain for said minorities. Ever hear about the LA Clippers??
  25. Was the Kasak redshirt an April Fool's ruse? He obviously didn't redshirt this past season and this thread was started 4/2/2024.
  26. So...THIS is our argument for why he's a narcissist? If you think he's a dick, fine, but do you understand what a narcissist is and how rare they are? Yet, it's become a stand-in for, "I don't like that person." Yes, they're Jesus Freaks...or to the faithful....Followers of Christ or whatever is respectful. That's kinda what they do. Their WHOLE thing is forgiveness. I don't know what athlete doesn't evoke God when they REALLY screw up and apologize? You didn't answer why he's a narcissist. I don't like the Brands. I just think they're dicks. I do not think they are narcissists. There's...maybe 1 or 2 people I can think of that I know that based on all the 0 years of any form of medical training I'd categorize as narcissists and I could be wrong on them. It's up there with "on the spectrum," I'm "neuroodivergent," when...it's more common if you're under 30 to be self diagnosed as neurodivergent than not and... oh, gas lighting. That's one I've seen used a lot. Yeah, or maybe I just DON'T remember you asking 10 times in the last week because I haven't seen you 10 times in the last couple months!
