With the u.s. having pretty much the highest obesity rate and worst health outcomes among developed nations, vegetarians are a shining example that we can all work toward. They help lower all of our health insurance rates and overall costs. Second, they cut down on the ridiculous greenhouse gasses thar are emitted from poultry, cow and pig farms. Cook county (Chicago ILL ish ) is one of the worst places in the country for taxes too. We pay for everything here. We pay now $0.10 per bag at the grocery store. That is up even from the old tax of $0.07. Local government is out of control. The streets/roads are shit. The highways are in disarray. Crime is crazy. They’re talking about head count taxes. Down town congestion fees … The uber taxes to take an uber down town are almost 80+% of the bill. I had a $20 uber the other day with $11 in taxes and city fees. the dam is going to break one day. We need doge like entities locally more than federally imo. over 600 million was spent last year on illegals Police overtime for the Jussie smollette case was over 130,000 13 million on an art council that was accused of mis using funds the unions and pension funds are consistently insolvent and will not end well My property taxes keep going up. Businesses and rich people are leaving…. This once great city won’t last 10-15 more years at this pace.

Taxes are paid by the normal joe. Where you live, you pay property taxes whether because you own property or rent property. Where you buy stuff, you pay sales tax. Where you buy stuff, the business owner has to pay some kind of business tax etc. Said biz owner doesn't pay those taxes, normal joe does in higher prices. When gas tax (and diesel) go up, food and merchandise prices increase thus normal joe essentially pays those taxes as well. Normal Joe pays all the taxes. Government hides them so normal Joe can't see them but they are there. Assume Normal Joe could see all the taxes he pays. Would Normal Joe be happy or extremely upset? mspart

Pritzker's voters are either too rich to care or too stupid to know about the taxes and effects you mention. People who don't directly pay property taxes (renters, live at homes) have no idea that property taxes are going up. They blame the energy companies when gas prices go up despite the fact that governments (all levels) make more on gas taxes than all the profits of all the providers. Communication fees/taxes and green hoax energy prices are going up due directly to their choices in the election booth yet they are as clueless as they can be. Therefore, Pritzker is wise to spew his filth. Democrat voting everyday people think taxes are paid by The Man and not by them.

In the state I live in you don’t need an ID to vote. If I’m not a US citizen and Im caught voting in an election my punishment will most likely be deportation. Which is really the same penalty you’d receive if you’re caught being here unlawfully.
