  1. Past hour
  2. 58 dems voted against a bill to condemn the murder of Charlie Kirk
  3. That isn't the order things have been reported to the public. The order was FCC Chair's podcast appearance->Affiliates announce their decision->ABC suspends Kimmel. Rolling Stone also reported of an emergency meeting with executives from Disney, ABC, and ABC affiliates where multiple executives felt Kimmel did not cross the line, but the threat of retaliation was a factor. "In the hours leading up to the decision to pull Kimmel, two sources familiar with the matter say, senior executives at ABC, its owner Disney, and affiliates convened emergency meetings to figure out how to minimize the damage. Multiple execs felt that Kimmel had not actually said anything over the line, the two sources say, but the threat of Trump administration retaliation loomed. 'They were pissing themselves all day,' one ABC insider tells Rolling Stone." So whether you or I think it's a threat or USA Today simply thinks it sounded like a threat, it is more important that executives at ABC, Disney, and its affiliates took it as a threat. There is a good chance any FCC enforcement action against ABC/affiliates based on Jimmy Kimmel's comments would ultimately fail, as many of this administration's enforcement actions have, but it would still be costly and time consuming to fight. Blocking Nexstar's pending merger wouldn't even be an enforcement action and could be more costly than any fine or contesting one. The merger would make Nexstar the largest broadcast affiliate capable of reaching 80% of US households. Nexstar wants the merger to go through and what happened is problematic whether the FCC chair's comments were seen as a threat to the deal or Nexstar took the action preemptively to try and ingratiate itself with the administration to grease the wheels and allow a merger that might not be in the public interest through.
  4. Didn't Dake when he was struggling to make a world team in freestyle make a run at Greco one year to little success?
  5. Which franchise would they pull it from?
  6. Everything in the lefts world is a dog whistle, and only they can hear it. Nevermind the fact we know the real truth. His show being removed from 36,000,000 home was just incidental.
  7. You think fcc will pull license for a false negative statement about a Democrat?
  8. There’s our favorite cluelesss wokester. Boo hoo he threatened me. Which he really didn’t.
  9. This is...certainly a take here...
  10. The same can be said about the majority of the news networks out there. CNN and MSNBC have both been caught reporting inaccurate stories in the past year like they are the truth.
  11. There was no lie by Kimmel. You're an idiot.
  12. Tons of evidence. It's very obvious to anybody that's not an idiot MAGA extremist.
  13. There was a reason I asked all those questions. Wokesters sure don’t understand the difference between open air and cable.
  14. Well there is no evidence of it, so I'm not sure that makes me the idiot.
  15. If you truly don't think the pressure from Trump was a factor, you are a complete idiot. There was nothing that offensive to even a moderate winger. Only the extremists.
  16. Of which fox does seem to have hotter teleprompter readers.
  17. Literally all sound bite short form news broadcasts are a garbage product. Zero original content. The 24 hour news stations are 24 hours of the same 30 minutes of news with no real information of substance, just being delivered by the tight skirt wearing bimbo of the hour.
  18. So, if I’m understanding this correctly, you were expecting some folkstyle ncaa champs and all Americans to start focusing on Greco around 23 years old, and be competitive with Europeans and Asians who have been focusing on Greco since 10 years old?
  19. The FCC didn't take him off the air so there is no formal complaint. The network had enough of the money pit Kimmel show and after two major companies dropped his show from their broadcast because of his offensive comments thus removing him from 36 million homes, his already losing show lost all hope of a turnaround. He is an obnoxious POS and the market responded. Pulling that USAID money sure has had an immediate impact.
  20. SOFI went from $7.50 on Feb 2nd to $29. That's 4x and counting. If they keep executing on their growth plans, it will go to $60+ in 2027. Some are projecting $100. You might look into it and buy some dips. I like the company, their vision, their execution, the market, and their CEO's competence. Quick read: https://cheatsheets.stocktwits.com/p/sofi-mid-q-update-interest-rates-and-new-initiatives-top-of-mind It is the only growth company that I have ever been bullish enough to let paper profits run. ASML and UNH are my next most confident bets for the next few years. They won't run like SOFI but should see paper profits in my opinion. If I was looking at fintech alternatives to SOFI, I would consider NU. If I was gambling, I would consider a flyer on Oracle. They are selling more data hosting than they have data centers for, with remarkable booked revenues for the next couple years. Some in the industry are saying the price could move from $300 to $900 if/as they execute. --- How about you? Anything you feel strongly about someone performing some due diligence on? Beyond the tried and true living to 120 years old?
  21. No. I said. If you re read. Not. Debating. This. Again. It’s tiresome. I say 1. You say 0 then yell farts into the wind. It’s not of any value.
  22. Huh? Dodging the question I see. Winger dishonesty and bs on full display again.
  23. Tis why I don’t watch it. It’s unbearable.
  24. Gobbled horse goo. Then resting in peace wneezy.
