None of you want to acknowledge that reality because it eliminates the boogeyman possibility that you rely on. Believing there would ever be a scenario where Israel is abandoned and unprotected from Muslim recrimination is the definition of naive. Any solution - two state or one state - will involve overwhelming military protection from the West for Israel - just like we've been doing for the past 70 years. Nor would I endorse anything that didn't include that. Speaking of Lebanon, why didn't you mention Sabra and Shatila? That was worse than October 7th by every measure. What about the Nakba? Deir Yassin? What about the documented (by the IDF) 450 attacks by West Bank settlers on Palestinian villagers this year?
