  1. Past hour
  2. I remember responding once to a long post about what death to America means to those saying it and how it’s different for those who hear it. I found that those saying it don’t care how the people hearing it feel. They don’t want to understand that using the term negates what they believe they intended it to mean. When you question them they run straight to the “you have a full belly and will never understand” card. They also don’t understand that just because you’re rural or maybe a wrestler that you may be educated but just have different viewpoints than they do. Especially different beliefs than the countries they live in, complain about yet do nothing about. They tend to talk while sitting on their hands letting it continue even though they have no freedom to speak of. And they certainly don’t understand that even the worst extremists in America are nothing compared to extremists in the rest of the world. And that in America we’re allowed to be extreme based on our beliefs unlike other places around the world. It’s called free speech, something treasured more than anything else in the world. And here’s something I figured out: They will never do anything about it. They will continue allowing things like arranged marriages, electing puppet Presidents and bowing down to a crooked and corrupt regime.
  3. Studies have shown that there is really no difference between conservatives and libtardos when it comes to being angry or mad. Ie……. One really doesn’t get more angry than the other. However those same studies show that libtardos are more likely to express their anger.
  4. Now THATS something we can agree upon. In general.
  5. If fans don’t want to watch a certain type of nonsense. And fans drive your revenue and viewership. I guess you don’t understand boss. You can ideal your way all day but capitalism doesn’t work that way. They may watch less. As I understand nfl ratings are down since ish that kneeling qb who wasn’t really a great qb. But whatever.
  6. Darn WKN.... did you major and minor in statistic.....maybe a double major, statistics and swimming perhaps???? Asking for some friends.
  7. Omar Ayoub is going to have a battle to start but I think he could be great. Wrestled Larkin tough at Pan ams and I think is probably a better folk guy. Beat Diversent last year 7-4 and Diversent beat Noto,Burwick,Grice.
  8. Who gives a sh1t except for conservatives always looking for something to be mad about though? People don’t watch the NFL for the cheerleaders
  9. I remember writing a long post once explaining that “Death to America” means “Death to the policies of U.S. governments, especially their support for Zionism,” not the people or the country. But over time, I realized those explanations make the people who don’t wanna understand even more arrogant and obnoxious. I’ve been in plenty of American forums and groups, but I’ve never seen people as ignorant as some of the members here. Not talking about everyone, of course - there are a few here I genuinely respect. But honestly, this is kind of what you’d expect from the wrestling community. In Iran, wrestlers often come from rural, less-educated backgrounds, and it seems like in the U.S., the wrestling crowd’s from an even lower rung. And here’s something I’ve figured out: you guys create extremism yourselves. Maybe some of those extremists who blow things up now once tried to explain their side to you, but eventually realized you don’t get reason - you only respond to force.
  10. Jake Deitchler Mario Mason Rylan Geiger Atticus Disney #1 rated MN Gophers recruiting class and none made it past freshmen year
  11. swear to god i thought of this one when i saw the title.
  12. The 1981 190 bracket gets a -80.5 using my metric. But that is a little meaningless as three of the seeded wrestlers lost to non-semifinalists and were eliminated after going 0-1. Back then only the losers to the semifinalists/finalists made the consolation bracket. Without the opportunity to wrestle back it is really hard to compare across eras.
  13. Today
  14. I don’t know who’s worse. But hard core religion is bad.
  15. The Crackster and the wokester will both just plead insanity.
  16. Yes. Dimocrat lawyers must be up to their necks. One thing though to Aaron’s take, the ICA wasn’t done as a report to the president, or anyone else in the IC. It was designed and directed by the president to be presented by the media. One reason this ICA was so different from earlier reports was that they were concerned with cyberattacks from the usual suspects, but mainly China. China was so deep into the systems of Obama, McCain, and Romney that it’s said that China knew who Obama’s administrative selections were before the selectees were notified.
  17. I can’t wait to hear how a certain person jumps to the other side of the fence on this one.
  18. I wonder if there is concern for him that Taz ends up at heavy.
  19. For context I think the 2006 157 bracket finished at -32.5 for the top 8. By my metric (which is just one way to view this) there are 17 more busted brackets above.
  20. Bahrain had more Olympic champs last year. That 97/125 combo would have been lethal for the next 10+ years.
  21. First lady Melania Trump is putting Hunter Biden on $1 billion notice over what she claims are "false, defamatory, disparaging, and inflammatory statements" made about her, demanding he immediately remove and retract the content and issue an apology or face legal action ...
  22. WrestlingRasta, man, “Allahu Akbar” isn’t just something Arabs say. All Muslims say it. Take Iran for example - most folks there aren’t Arab, and a lot of them don’t even understand Arabic, but you’ll still hear “Allahu Akbar” all the time. Same with Muslims in other places - like Muslim Russians - they use it a lot too. The thing is, the Quran’s in Arabic, and “Allahu Akbar,” which means “God is great,” pops up in it over and over. It’s also in a bunch of Muslim prayers and chants, so even people who don’t speak Arabic pick up those common phrases and use ’em without even thinking about it. I haven’t watched the video in this thread, so I don’t know if that guy’s Arab or not, but either way, it’s not just an “Arab thing.”
  23. This . Sure are some slow fu;+$r$ on here
  24. I think this was one of the first things I did in 2021 when I first started gathering data. I only looked at 2010-present (because that was all I had). At that time the 2016 174 bracket was the most busted by far using my criteria. And that is still true. To do this I calculated the difference between the seed and the finish for the top 8 seeds in every bracket. For finishes outside of the podium I used the mid-point of the range. For a bloodround finish (9-12) a wrestler gets credit for finishing 10.5. Going 0-2 put you in the 25 to 32 range so you get credit for 28.5. And so forth. The #2 seed (Brain Realbuto - Cornell) and the #4 seed (Ethan Ramos - North Carolina) both going 0-2 really killed this bracket. But with only 3 of the top 8 finishing on the podium, it was an uphill fight regardless.
  25. Some of these modern day weed strains, just sitting in a bag in a drawer wrapped in a sock - brand new and not having been smoked at all - can not only stink up a room, it can be smelled on different floors of a house. Incredibly pungent. These days, dogs are not necessarily required to detect unsmoked pot...a human nose suffices.
