Good guys kicking arse in battles of Florida
WrestlingRasta replied to WrestlingRasta's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
After some hiccups from both Florida squads, the ship has been corrected and the good guys are looking good again. Blades dropped game three on the road before closing it out in game five, not even allowing the series to come back to Ft Myers. We await the winner of Trios Riverries (3 games) and Norfolk (2). Panthers drop the first two on the road of their second round, really taking a while to wake up. But wake up they did and have really put a physical pounding on Toronto the last two games to make it 2-2. Thinking (hoping) their physicality pays dividends in what is now a best of three. -
Ai - “Boeing was awarded a $3.9 billion fixed-price contract in 2018 to deliver two modified 747-8 aircraft, known as VC-25B, to replace the aging Air Force One fleet by December 2024. The project has faced significant delays and cost overruns, with Boeing absorbing over $2.5 billion in losses due to supply chain issues, labor shortages, changing requirements, and complexities in modifying the aircraft for presidential use. Key challenges include a bankrupt subcontractor, security clearance lapses, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Delivery dates have been repeatedly pushed back, first to 2026-2028, and now potentially to 2029 or later. President Trump, who negotiated the contract, has expressed frustration, exploring alternatives like modifying a used Qatari 747 through L3Harris as an interim solution. Boeing is working with Elon Musk to streamline the process, but the delays continue to strain the program.” Boeing sure seems to be struggling on every front.

With three point takedown and four back points it's a lot easier than it once was

I'd like to hear Gilman as a color commentator for this one

125: Spratley dec. Peterson (3-0 OSU) 133: Ayala dec. Figs (3-3) Figs is 1-0 against Ayala though IIRC? 141: Jamison dec. Bailey (6-3 OSU) 149: Swiderski dec. Williams/Alvarez (9-3 OSU) 157: Williams/Alvarez dec. Travis (9-6 OSU) 165: Caliendo dec. Lockett (9-9) 174: Kennedy dec. Facundo (12-9 IOWA) I actually think this is a complete toss-up 184: Ferrari dec. Ryder (15-9 IOWA) 197: Merrill dec. Masome (15-12 IOWA) 285: Keuter dec. Doucet (18-12 IOWA) That being said, I wouldn't be very surprised to see results flip at 125, 133, 157, 165, 174, or 184. I think all of those matches are within the margins. That's potential for a lot of swing in the dual. It should be a treat. I see more upside for OSU than Iowa, but Iowa seems to be a clear favorite going in, so that makes sense.

Hmmm idk, CP said these dudes are basically taking cake walk online courses while traveling the country to whatever top of the line training center they can get to. Their whole life is wrestling with a couple easy HS classes. College will probably be a little tougher class wise, they likely won't have the helicopter parents scripting every second of their lives for them, and you never know how people adjust to their first taste of freedom after such a dedicated childhood. They'll be competing for attention in the college rooms. All this to say, they might have the most ideal training situation now. I do wonder how their mentality is, is their goal to be a 4x AA, multi time NCAA champ, or are these guys already looking at Olympic medals and whatever happens at NCAAs happens on their way to the ultimate goal. -
Anyone hear something crazy recently?

From the little tidbits I've been able to find from people allegedly in the know, it sounds like it was a cop posing to get the Johns, he solicited via an ad on a specific site for people who do this kinda thing. Got a good chunk of people from the site. So doesn't sound like it went past solicitation. Could've also just been fed bs though. -
If it was consensual I'm "meh" about it but if this is a trafficking issue he's gotta go down. Unfortunately in America if you're really good at sports you get away with things like this.

Oh no, this very clever, completely unforseeable rhetorical trap you've set has sprung. I'm not debating semantics with you. Believe what you want to believe about the subject. I'm sure the $400 million luxury plane will just go sit outside of Mar A Lago, collecting dust. I'm going to watch the Last of Us. Have fun.
