The Pentagon/Military is by far the largest source of waste and corruption in the government. DOGE isn't likely to look very closely, and they haven't so far, because Musk's companies hold major contracts with the Pentagon. So you have a government agency that's supposed to eliminate waste and corruption, but has totally ignored the largest source of waste and corruption because the head of the agency is himself involved in that waste and corruption.
