I am not sure what you are going on about. I was not the one who was threatened. There is no threat for me to either respond to or ignore. If you are referring to the threat made by FCC Chair Carr that is well documented. Benny Johnson posted on X about it even before publishing the podcast where Carr made the threat. The threat, as described by Johnson, was "immediate action against Jimmy Kimmel, ABC, and Disney" and further elaborates that this "may lead to ABC losing its broadcast license."

Jimmy Kimmel already was advising people on what to do when their main communication venue is cut off. He'll be fine. By the way, Kimmel's stuff on The Man Show was pretty funny. Including the Karl Malone shtick. Dave Chappelle's white face characters are funny. The movie White Chicks is funny. Everyone just STFU about comedy and enjoy it.

His comment saying he hoped Kirk would burn in hell or whatever was bad. I don’t necessarily agree with this one, but don’t have a problem with anything he said here. And this quote certainly isn’t condoning the murder.

My son works for a family owned company that’s growing big time. Great benefits and decent but not great pay. The ESOP will give him the opportunity to bet set up to retire at 55. In addition He and his wife who runs her own business invest as much as they can. I preached compound interest

I know a guy that gets something similar to Jimmy via ESOP. There is definitely some luck involved beyond hard work and intelligence. This guy has partially retired at 41 and plans to fully retire at 45. His salary is nothing crazy but the ESOP is averaging 30% a year. Nobody wants to retire because they must sell out of private stock when they do. It is cool that when the business owner was going to sell to German in the 80s, they employees took out a loan and bought it instead. All I can say is kudos to him. I have been openly encouraging my 12 nieces, nephews, and extended family to invest as the first are about to graduate college. They must own assets and start as early as possible. Working since 14, worked over a dozen jobs, worked multiple jobs at once, worked through college, grinded 55 hours weekly for years, sometimes 100! hours, used to read 30 books annual, largely self help. I wish I knew then what I know now… Since my dad died so young and I have never had dad advice as an adult, it is rewarding to give my extended family dad advice…
