  2. I’m good giving him to Israel, maybe trade him for this American citizen child who has not been released, held for months without being charged and merely accused of throwing rocks in the West Bank. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/jul/31/palestinian-american-teen-detained-israeli-prison
  3. A component regarding our low level of health in this country and the cost of healthcare that is not being talked about enough, is the demand for healthcare. Like anything else in a capitalism society, when the demand is high, the cost is high. The demand is high because we choose to be unhealthy in this country. We choose foods that have more ingredients than an NFL team has players. We choose to spend the vast majority of our waking hours off our feet. We choose to partake in a lifestyle of high stress. We choose to indulge in large amounts of alcohol and sugar. There is definitely a genetic element to our health. But there is also a choice element. And by and large in this country, we do not choose wisely. This creates a large demand for high level health care. And where there is high demand, there is high cost.

  5. I think Arnold could do fine at 197. He’s beaten (but also lost to) Silas Allred and Jaxon Smith who were previously 197’s
  6. Yeah I think its his body type that makes him look huge tbh. Like comparing him to Ghasempour its like they are 2 weight classes apart. When I saw him wrestle Rahmani earlier this year was when I realised how big he actually is.
  7. Isn't he a 5 time NCAA champ? COVID year aside winning 4 NCAA indicates he is a very very high level wrestler.
  8. yeesh how do you really feel
  9. Peso value is notoriously volatile. The US Dollar is considered stable. That's why Argentina is benefiting, while the US is taking on considerable risk. Should the peso go up in value? Meh. Given the chaotic nature of the current administration, that's not even close to guaranteed. To put it kindly, the US is a mess in terms of its economic credibility right now. Trump's Project 2025 people have done nothing but wreak havoc (and, for those of you keeping score, no it's not a knock on Trump himself - it's on the financial idiots who are part of his administration.) If anyone is interested but doesn't understand, Google "currency speculation".
  10. Are you simple? Or just stupid? We should NOT be propping up Argentina to the tune of either $20 or $40 billion, not even 2 dollars. Period, end of story. (Save your bullshit transgender argument for people even dumber than you.)
  11. In my finest Morgan Freeman voice: "In fact, he did not do it today. Or the day after. Or the day after that. Perhaps Truzzcat does not care about the young fatties of the upper weight classes and will never provide the predictive analysis desired by others on a random internet forum. For shame."
  12. V is wrong. MNCare is still alive and well. V is also wrong. ACA/ObamaCare has made things more affordable. Sounds like you need to be educated. You need to be a better product. As I posted in my last post above, this is a right-here right-now situation. FOR ANYBODY WHO IS TRULY INTERESTED IN HEALTH CARE: If you still think HC is too expensive, then you should join the conversation between R's and D's right now that is keeping the government shut down. D's are defending affordable health care on their side - R's want to take funding away from affordable health care.
  13. Agreed that the wealthiest country in the world should be able to provide healthcare for those that can't afford it. That seems the most decent and human concept since Jesus. (And I mean that literally.) ACA/ObamaCare has made healthcare far more affordable than it had been. If you still don't think it's affordable - then you should consider that it would cost far more without it. If you still think HC is too expensive, then you should join the conversation between R's and D's right now that is keeping the government shut down. D's are defending affordable health care on their side - R's want to take funding away from affordable health care. Don't believe me. It's the truth, and it's all out there for you to read up on if you feel like googling it.
  14. A non-swimmer failing a swim-heavy selection? Color me shocked. Also, it will be very, very difficult for him to be admitted to USNA. Unlike kids straight out of HS, enlisted sailors receive no preference for athletics. Could see him back at Iowa or some other school but I would be incredibly surprised if USNA accepted him. Plus…his justification for wanting to commission plus the lack of a plan (major, job as an officer) is not going to win anyone over. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Even college hittin' the slopes Zahid would have beat Starocci in folk (and free). He was that dude.
  16. No, I think Zahid wins. He will have a bye to Final X. Starocci has a slew of guys to beat at 86 KG just to make Final X. Potentially even two that have recent wins over him in Hidlay and Dake.
