  2. Can tell you don’t coach. I’m sure at that echelon it’s a little different, but I’m sure they take classes the same as anyone else on concussion protocol, abuse protocols, and boundaries between coach and players.
  3. Parker Pikor from Cleveland State to Kent State
  4. You’re a troll or not wanting to understand the situation. Not. Sure. Don’t care. Yes — You Must Report Under both federal Title IX and Penn State policy, as a coach, you are a “mandated” or “responsible” employee—so you must report any disclosure of sexual misconduct, even if the victim or perpetrator isn’t named. Title IX – Federal Law & Penn State Policy (AD‑85) Penn State’s AD‑85 policy designates all employees—including athletic coaches—as responsible employees. They are “obligated to pass along information they learn about incidents of sexual misconduct to the University’s Title IX Coordinator” Marquette Law Scholarship+12universityethics.psu.edu+12studentaffairs.psu.edu+12. Failure to report can lead to violations under 34 C.F.R. § 106.8(b), which require universities to “respond appropriately to notice of sex discrimination” U.S. Department of Education. Penn State Requirements Penn State’s Office of Ethics & Compliance explicitly confirms: “mandatory reporters ... are obligated to pass along information they learn about incidents of sexual misconduct to the University's Title IX Coordinator.”universityethics.psu.edu+1Spotlight PA+1 AD‑85 demands that any possible sexual harassment/incidents be reported promptly to the Title IX CoordinatorLexology+15U.S. Department of Education+15Furman University+15. You can contact the PSU Title IX Office at TitleIX@psu.edu or call 814‑867‑0099, as listed on the Office of Sexual Misconduct Prevention & Response site universityethics.psu.edu+4studentaffairs.psu.edu+4Spotlight PA+4. What You Should Do Report Promptly Notify Penn State’s Title IX Coordinator using the official reporting channels (email or phone, see above). Provide All Available Info Even without names, report the nature of the allegation (rape via digital penetration). Do Not Investigate Yourself Your role is to report; PSU Title IX will determine next steps. Inform the Reporting Athlete Let them know the report has been made, and that PSU offices will take over while trying to maintain confidentiality. Encourage Confidential Support Resources Your athlete may seek help through PSU resources (like R‑VOICE, CAPS) which are confidential U.S. Department of Education+1Student Discipline Defense+1studentaffairs.psu.edu. Why This Matters Federal compliance: Title IX mandates that reports of sexual misconduct be handled without delay. Ignoring or withholding information can result in institutional violations . Penn State’s history: In prior OCR reviews (e.g., Sandusky scandal), PSU failed to report incidents from within athletics—highlighting the university’s heightened responsibility and scrutiny . Protection for minors: Though not specified here, Pennsylvania law also requires reporting suspected child abuse, including assault of minors, to ChildLine
  5. A mandatory reporter is required to report any information they are made aware of. There is no grey area here. If you are in a position of power or authority at a university and you hear something second hand, you must report it https://www.uncp.edu/sites/default/files/2021-08/Mandatory Reporter Quick Reference Guide_0.pdf
  6. What about, "hey coach, this guy took photos of me coming out of the team showers and disseminated them all without my consent." Do you think that would require reporting?
  7. Where are you getting the "heard a teammate did ... " when BB seems to be saying he reported what happened to him plus other supporting info?
  8. Reporting obligations are based on specific written rules, not your arbitrary sense of moral outrage driven by your hatred of a particular college wrestling program.
  9. Today
  10. Run for office. You’re perfect for the democratic socialist turn into a communist ticket.
  11. It 3 million percent is. You show me it isn’t. Your argument is wrong. Your argument is anti female suffering. And you’re probably just trolling. So no. I’m not googling for you. this isn’t court. This is college. This is law suit preventative central.
  12. Guess I should have applied, didn’t realize those skills translated to government work!
  13. My question is simple. Show me in writing the obligation for a NCAA coach to make formal reports based on “hey I heard a teammate did X”. Because all three of your hypotheticals are based solely on hearsay. Look up what hearsay means because I’m 99% sure you don’t know what it is.
  14. Hold all tickets. Today the Class Counsel took exception to the College Sports Commission's guidance with regard to collectives. “We urge the CSC to retract the July CSC Memorandum and clarify that the valid business purpose requirement applies to NIL collectives in the same manner as any other entity,” the letter said. “If the CSC does not retract the statement, Class Counsel will have no choice but to pursue relief from the Special Master as the July CSC Memorandum is already causing injury to class members.”
  15. You’re running the “X” account now ??? lol
  16. The White House hired a message board troll to run their Twitter account, lol
  17. Again. And. Again. Yep he should. Bada Bing!
  18. Well not people that voted for Trump because they thought he’d release the Epstein files. Bada bing!
  19. A lot of people naming some great wrestlers who were pretty good in high school too. The question the OP raises is, who is the worst wrestler to become a D1 AA? There’s got to be somebody we probably don’t remember that placed 7th or 8th or something that never even qualified for the state championships in HS.
  20. Why would I go to a country where I can’t flush a toilet?
  21. This sentence needs examination. coach. What’s up. scenario1: Ya. I saw:heard:was told a teammate he was raped in the rear end by another one of our team members. Coach. Well man. Since it’s a third party I don’t know. I’ll say nothing. scenario2: coach. Ya. What’s up. I saw:heard:was told a teammate had a high school girl in here … And it got sexual. She is 17 scenario3: coach. Ya what’s up. I heard a teammate raped someone. Maybe even that 17 year old above. if all 3 of these aren’t reported and your defending Carl. You are a special person. if this is the answer to all 3 scenarios your a bad person for defending Carl here : Carl: (Allegedly) Well man. Since it’s a third party I don’t know. I’ll say nothing.
  22. So we can’t see a real alternative that doesn’t exist. Got it. Ummmmm If you were actually there they’d have knocked on your door already for speaking against the regime. GOOD TRY Eeeeeeeeeeee ooooooooooo eeeeeeeeeee dial up sucks huh?
  23. Your post is silly. This is a sexual abuse case. You can’t prove he did tell Carl. You can’t prove he did not. We mere mortals don’t know. I defend the women who claim they were abused. And the men. How tf do any of us know for a fact what was said. This is why women are afraid to come forward when they are abused btw. People like you. to your #2. He is bound by college ncaa etc rules. If he didn’t report a sexual abuse accusation and they somehow prove he didn’t report it he is literally toast at psu and imo as a coach forever. Notice I said accusation. All. All. All. Any. Any. Any. Sexual abuse related accusations must be reported if he was told. End of story. Not a police / jail / legal requirement but a coach requirement. It’s not debatable. If your debating this your silly.
  24. Yeah I guess what's an extra 10 years between internet friends in the big scheme of things.
  25. One could argue that every loss he had in college was either injury (Amuchastegui) or he simply was overlooking the opponent and suddenly it was too late (Letts/Dean). Definitely "coulda/shoulda" been an undefeated 4xer in my book
