  1. Past hour
  2. So ya it happens. Thanks for confirming the third world mentality. You’d think a country as old as yours would be leading the world by now.
  3. After four years of a weekend at Bernie’s puppet president you should like it now.
  4. What about career RPI or some ELO equivalent?
  5. SO, John was still training and still pretty much in his prime of wrestling. TJ, obviously tough as hell. RUMOR has it, TJ got the better of him in a few goes and John injured TJ, his ankle. This is a rumor that I have heard from a few people that were in the program. TJ said he was leaving, and John said he would never allow him to transfer out. This part is fact: The team was gone out of town on a dual, and TJ went into the AD's office and said, I am here to sign my transfer papers. AD says, I have no idea what you are talking about. TJ acts pissed, and says, John said they would be ready for me to sign. AD says, I cannot do that without John approving. TJ says, I will call him right now, acts like he is on the phone, does the "yep, i am in here and he says he didn't know about it etc" Obviously didn't talk to JOhn, but hangs up the phone. TJ says there you go, he said go ahead and draft them up and let me sign. AD does it. TJ signs transfer out. TJ is gone, heading to North Carolina and John gets back and is pissed...All sounds nuts, but it was way back before social media etc. That part about the transfer, I was told is a fact. I have never asked TJ directly about this, but I do have a friend that wrestled with him, that told me the story.
  6. But, it's clean......lol
  7. Mason Manville
  8. At Azerbaijan, Dagestan, Armenia, and Georgia were part of Iran (then Persia) before the incompetent Persian king surrendered them to Russia. Think of the wrestling implications if that had not happened.
  9. Craig Henning got screwed in the 2007 NCAA Finals.
  10. Today
  11. 1993 was the year Oklahoma State was banned from the NCAA tournament. Presumably he transferred to avoid having to sit out that tournament.
  12. Viktor Sveda Jeff Knupp Sonny Marchette
  13. Sean Hage
  14. Producer Price Index rose 0.9% in only one month. That's skyrocketing. Over 10% pace annually if it continues. Will inevitably get passed down to consumers in coming months. Not sure if it will affect his approval rating though because it really can't get much lower, can it? But I've been wrong on that recently. It's dropping faster than all that extra fluid going to his ankles. Should Trump fire whoever put this report out?
  15. Another way I was going to do it was cumulative points at that point in their career, but that is a lot more work. I will do it at some point.
  16. For three of the 2010 AAs it was their only visit to the podium. And the 2010 title was the only title won by the group.
  17. Yes I believe chanting a prayer exclusive to the muslim faith....points, while maybe not outright proving beyond the shadow of a doubt, but points to being muslim. I must be silly. Okay cool...moving on.

  19. Speaking of 157... It is also home to the least accomplished bracket (measured by career points at NCAAs). With a mere 285 total career points, it is less than half of the total the 2014 bracket put on the board.
  20. I never said you said it was the root cause, but you keep repeating that “not all Muslims are Arab” and “he was saying Allah Akhbar,” you’re clearly trying to suggest that you think the signs point to him being Muslim. You are welcome to your opinion. I disagree. And when I said “looks like,” I was not literally talking about his appearance. That was based on the fact that he was Indian from India. And doing a quick search, apparently only about 14% of India’s population is Muslim.
  21. All of these brackets are loaded. I do think the team point stats are slightly misleading because they assign career achievements to a single year, but it's a useful tool nonetheless. For example, St. John was wrestling on one leg pretty much all of the 2014 season. Was a testament to his toughness that he even AA'd. I went with 2014 anyway.
  22. June 15th was New Year’s Day for those college coaches recruiting the Class of 2027 and the student-athletes waiting to plan out their futures. The 15th was the first day that collegiate coaches could officially contact rising juniors and there has been plenty of activity on the recruiting front. Since the 15th, some of the nation’s top prospects have released lists of their top schools. Rather than trying to dig through social media or click through a bunch of state sites, we have compiled this list of these top recruits and their potential future homes. Remember recruiting is a fluid process, so another school, currently unlisted, could jump into the picture for a recruit. Conversely, the recruits could trim their list at any time. This is a feature that will be revisited as needed throughout the recruitment process. Since our first version of this feature the following wrestlers have been added: #11 Clinton Shepherd, #20 Brock Rothermel, #24 Caleb Noble, #34 Maximus Fortier, #54 Steel Meyers, #77 Cayden Rios, #89 Evan Stanley, #134 Brock Armstrong. 23. I don’t recall saying or implying Islam was the root cause of his actions. I simply pointed out to you that not all Muslims are arabs, in response to you stating he doesn’t look Muslim to you, with your reasoning being that he’s ’definitely not of Arab ethnicity” So, for the sake of moving on, I’ll just simply and directly ask……what point are you trying to make with me here??
  24. after jake qualified for the olympics while still in hs i thought he was the next "it guy" in college.
