Not a difficult question. All it would take is for one of the person's parents to be a US citizen at the time of the child's birth. The child would be a US citizen by birthright.

I think your understanding of the matter is what is shifting because of how detailed and verbose we have to be in order to get the point across that this isn't a matter of denigrating his belief in god but rather his attitude. And after having to fully lay out the reasons people find him a bit insufferable at times you may finally agree but that would mean admitting you may have been partiallly wrong or at least give ground to the opposing viewpoint which is a bridge to far for some on here.
