I plan to try ghee for the first time tomorrow to sear some NY Strip coming out of the sous vide bath.

I think we’re top ish in property and combined state taxes too …. No end in sight as we are STILL paying hundreds of millions for bidens illegal alien scheme and they are asking to raise property taxes in Chicago / cook county specifically for that…. AGAIN. don’t sit here and tell me it’s for “schools” either. Chicago public schools are shyte. Nowadays, it only seems like people care when this kind of stuff happens to the common man. This kinda stuff doesn't excuse you from being a politician, movie star, athlete, president, etc anymore. People go "oh my gosh, that's weird" and then move on as if nothing happened. Now, if you're working a 9-5, expect to be fired and divorced.

i think most of the people who know his name know it for that reason if thats enough, certainly the only reason i know it.

CP posted a youtube video where these phenoms aren't quite like the phenoms of the past... i.e. Jax, Bo, Blaze have all been getting legit senior freestyle training for years, so they're already there. Idk if I'd expect them to jump many levels from their college careers like other guys in the past have made... They're also all 19 years old regardless of their varying grades. I might bet on PJ Duke being the top contender... He's the youngest of this bunch at 18 and I feel like he's just gonna keep getting better. Ladarion Lockett is probably my favorite, but I have a feeling his style is gonna result in a few more losses i.e. less likely to be the top P4P guy.

First of all, you need tax revenue, so why not propert tax? It's a finite resource. Secondly, and related to that, you MUST have property taxes. It's not an option. Think about what happens to property prices if property taxes become $0? There's basically no limit. We'd ALL be renting from multi billionaires who would buy up basically everything and rent it out. Ya gotta think about consequences. How people react when you change tax policy.

typical responses by the utterly idiotic resident socialists. if you really wanted to help the middle/lower class, you'd be against property taxes. the barrier to entry for first time homeowners is dramatically worsened by them. it effects generations. it effects zoning. it effects the entire community and culture. there are plenty of other tax revenues to cover for real estate, which is a tax on what, exactly? of the land you purchased merely existing? but of course you effin birdbrains couldn't extrapolate that, could you?

Mmmmm I use ghee a lot for searing. A lot of the time with seafood. (Pan seared scallops). Can’t go wrong with either imo. Ghee has a decently higher smoking point too. also it is often cheaper to make your own ghee if your so inclined. maybe it depends on what your searing. I almost bought some duck fat today. That’s yummy too.

Question for you… I bought some Ghee to use to sear meats after Sous Vide. I’ve read it has a higher smoke point than olive oil or butter, a nutty flavor and isn’t bad healthwise. How does it compare to tallow?

I believe he claimed Brody Teske had gotten arrested while at PSU, no clue if it was true, I’d guess not because nothing really ever came out about it unlike Davis. I may have missed it but I don’t think Minnow has really commented about this, and just said “not good.” So if it’s true he’ll claim he knew and if it’s not true he’ll claim the “not good” was about something else.
