We didn't report on the President's condition because the WH told us he was ok so that was good enough for us even though we and half the nation (probably more) could see his mental and physical decline. We had no reason to ask further questions because we were assured that he was ok. It took until the debate for US to actually see it and we still denied it blaming it on a bad day or bad debate. Because we had n o reason to suspect that there was anything wrong with the President except It was there for all to see but we would not see it because there was no reason to see it.
