    its fairly shocking what winning can do to peoples memories. If he doesn't do anything ***I am an idiot and can't use a better adjective***ed and is an undefeated champ he is going somewhere and getting paid to do it.

    He's an ncaa champ, why would he? Because Facundo has been a good solider and deserves a shot? They don't care about that.

    is it possible(yes)? is it a good idea for him? is it a good precedent for the program? if they cut him down and then ditch him when he can't perform is that gonna look bad for recruiting? Whats the actual question.

    maybe. Obviously I'm more interested in ferrari for supporting the narrative that many of us seem to enjoy, so perhaps confirmation bias.

    Say what you want about him, he'll be the only man in history to be New Jersey's official spirit animal despite not being from there and having no tatoos.

    its possible but every visual cue says otherwise. Does that make more sense than the camera guy who followed him around since "5:30" decided not to get any practice film till it was over?

    His practice film makes it obvious. He's wrestling his coach who looks exhausted, doing some drills on whoever else he could get to stay, and there are a bunch or random people in the background waiting to use the room for a yoga class or something. He basically didn't work out that day.

    admittedly he needed a faster start to compare with those guys. I'm just saying that this win would give you enough to piece together some sort of frankenstein argument that he's the GOAT.

    He does have Garret Nijenhuis to wrestle with. Thats a 174 so not gonna push him, but the guy can definitely wrestle...easy to find too because him and Ferrari are the only non-californians i saw on the roster

    After he won his last worlds he said if it wasn't for him Yazdani would be the best ever, so he's the best ever. Then had all that exploded by turning out to not the best guy in the country at that time. He cemented his legacy as "great" when he won worlds the first time, but I'm pretty sure he wants to have claim to being the best ever to do it.

    It was a maybe when he made the team, now Saduleav is going....if he doesn't go I'm gonna be pissed. If Taylore beat him I'd put him back in the GOAT discussion.

    I have the sneaking suspicion he landed at CSUB because it was the only administration too apathetic to google him.

    I'm amused endlessly that in his own documentary, if you watch slightly carefully, you realize he'd been blowing off study hall and had to do all 7 weekly mandated hours and once and missed practice as a result. Talk about "how was that the best take?"

    MY favorite part was either when he said %1 better for the 50th time right after eating a piece of butter, or that he was late or missed practice because he put off his 7 hours of weekly study hall till the last day of the week....

    I have to point out it start with him in front of a window completely beaming with sunlight and "5:30" imposed on the screen. Tomorrow google says the sun rises at 6:54 in bakersfield CA.
