Apparently right after the deposition his spokesperson released a statement saying, “As everyone knows, Chairman Jordan never saw or heard of any abuse, and if he had, he would have dealt with it.” So just more lies. -
You're the AD: give the bag to a coach or a wrestler? 💰💰💰
TNwrestling replied to CHROMEBIRD's topic in College Wrestling
Well.... Ok St threw money at the coach and got the wrestlers.... Iowa threw money at the wrestler and he decommited and is likely going to the aforementioned team... I'm going with coach. -
70s it was gable wrestling 80s and 90s it was iowa style wrestling 00s was cael 10s was the Penn State era But midway through the 2020s we've officially entered a new era Two high schoolers made the senior world team. One beat a 4x ncaa champ and the other beat the world champ. We've officially entered the phenom era. Expect many more 4x champs to come in the next decade

Umm so, apparently it isn’t a 100% done deal with Chattanooga and someone else is in play. I have no idea who. But I’m told it’s 60/40 chatt

As far as I've heard he's still there training. Maybe him being removed from wrestlestat would indicate he hasn't been accepted into the school yet.
-
He stole things out of lockers of the other guys, actively refused to practice and just wanted to compete, i was told he was just an all around cancer to the locker room. Hindsight being what it is, that staff made the right choice. Their roster now is the best they've had in years. Wish they could've kept Boarman though.

Your frontal lobe reaches peak development age at 25 and ages 10-24 is referred to as "adolescence" in THIS article from the National Institute of Health. But by all means, if you think you know otherwise.... -

There isnt any need for whataboutisms or comparisons. This thread is about the Ohio St abuse scandal. If you wanna talk about the Catholic church one start a new thread. They can both be horrendous situations. -

Dang, defending Strauss right now is crazy work. I said, in their minds, they were children and he was a well respected dr. They said it in the doc. He targeted freshmen kids who JUST got to campus. I guess TECHNICALLY they were adults in that they were 18, but I'm curious to wonder why you think that makes it ok? -

Short answer, He targeted kids who were from small towns and depended on scholarships to be there. Nobody ever swung on him because he was an extremely well respected doctor and, in their minds, nobody was going to believe a child over an incredibly liked and tenured professor of medicine. So some kept quiet. Many did speak up. Near 200 formal complaints had been filed, when it was all said and done, and the school didn't do anything about it. Actively covered it up. This includes Jim Jordan. -

@Fred @Saylors_Tiny_Willie I'm assuming since you used the clown emoji to react to this post that you agree with Jim Jordan and that nothing ever actually happened at Ohio State? Because that's been his argument from day one. Nothing ever happened, but if it did he didnt know about it. -
Not a stupid question. There are lots of people who have to have a lung removed for a list of different reasons (cancer, trauma, infection, birth defects, etc). You can live a semi normal life with one lung. "The average lungs can hold about 6 liters of air. Living with one lung reduces this capacity by about 30 percent. That said, 70 percent functionality is still enough to oxygenate the body properly." https://integrishealth.org/resources/on-your-health/2024/november/can-you-live-with-one-lung

It means those machines are breathing for him. They're keeping him sedated and breathing for him because he isn't capable of doing it on his own. Because of this he's extremely weak and may not be capable of handing a surgery the magnitude of a double lung transplant. He would need to respond to the antibiotics and get a little better before they could. And he isn't responding to the antibiotics. He's in a bad spot.

The fact Jim says he had no idea this happened and that it was a political hit job by the democrats is absolutely abhorrent. -
Why would i ever out a source on a public forum lol You can choose to believe me or believe it's fake news. However, utc added two other kids who were ranked top 5 in the country in hs who are from tn. It really isnt that far outside the realm of conceivability they'd add another
