  1. “We can only find one recorded defeat of Lincoln in 12 years,” stated Bob Dellinger, director emeritus of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in Stillwater, Oklahoma. “He was undoubtedly the roughest and toughest of all the wrestling presidents[1].” Lincoln was nearly impossible to beat in his time. According to historians, Lincoln has only one confirmed loss in allegedly more than 300 fights throughout an incredible 12-year span. https://www.blackbeltmag.com/abraham-lincoln-s-wrestling-prowess Here's another reference. https://www.britannica.com/story/was-abraham-lincoln-a-wrestler You're out of your element on this one. Jacob wrestling an angel never happened. Lincoln's wrestling was documented.
  2. Regardless of which translation you choose (others say he survived, not won), its still a work of fiction. Lincoln's record is actually written in history. Jacob wrestling an imaginary figure isn't.
  3. yes, the angel touched his hip and popped it out of its socket and that was the end of the "match". jacob didnt win. he Inj Def. besides all that, Lincoln's record is tangible and real. the bible is myth, parables, stories, fiction.
  4. Jacob from the bible? He was 0-1
  5. Snyder’s attorney Eric Hoffman also made a statement in court saying that the decorated wrestler was very sorry for his actions and called the incident a “lapse in judgment.” So the insinuation is that this was his first time ever doing this? But he knew all the lingo? I'm calling bs.
  6. Maybe we'll get lucky and Jojo will come home and wrestle at Chattanooga. They'd have a pretty solid punch if he joined.
  7. yeah @The Kid advised me of the split of the church of england from the catholic church like 40 years before the mayflower set sail. which is kind of an issue that you both would read all that and that ONE THING is your entire take away. Besides that minute detail what exactly else is wrong that would qualify as "so much" being wrong?
  8. They added "In God we Trust" on the bills in 1955 and "One Nation Under God" was added in 1954. Both were answers to the cold war and the communist scare. To say in one line that you "completely believe in separation of church and state" then basically say its ok they use religion as a reasoning to write policy is an oxymoron. Religion is a tool used by the ultra wealthy and those in power to stay in power. Heck, the church was pro abortion until Reagan and Jerry Falwell teamed up and made it their number one issue during the 80s. Reagan wanted the christian vote and Falwell wanted a spot on his cabinet. We aren't a "christian nation". The entire reason why we even exist as a country was because a group of people didn't want to be forced to join the Catholic church. We, as a nation, are supposed to be a melting pot of ethnicities. A diverse group of people and religions. THAT is what our forefathers envisioned for us. There's a group of people who seem to forget this.
  9. The fact you said this and don't see any sort of issue with it is why christianity is a problem currently in this country.

  13. they said 133 and 149
  14. rumors were right, ok state comes in last minute and takes the brothers.
  15. assuming someone wants segs because theyre wearing a skirt you deem too short is asinine
  16. "But your honor, she was ASKING for it because she was wearing clothes!" -TheKid
  17. The bible certainly has enough of murder, incest, rape and pedophilia to be its own indictment against the religion..but i guess thats a topic for a different discussion isnt it?
  18. so now he gets a pass because without Christianity he could be worse? man some of yalls takes are wild
  19. i know you personally havent given him any sort of pass. but there are A LOT that are. all men. we forget children are picked up and raised to be addicts and forced into this sometimes. i just cannot assume that every one of his transactions were kosher.
  20. in this scenario, the woman being forced to solicit the sex act is the drug addict. are you able to honestly say that you think this was his first time? and if not could you then honestly say that the encounters before this were ALL consensual? no, i don't think calling him that is too far.
  21. besides all that, knowing that a LARGE percentage of women in this profession are there against their will you're still willing to give him a pass because "as someone who has a family member who's a sex worker, imho sex work should be legalized and regulated"? That's great that you have someone in your family who does what they want and has full authority over their body. That's rare in that industry. again, statistically speaking, its likely he's encountered a woman who was in dire need of his help and he just wanted to get off...for that, kyle snyder is scum.
  22. fine, time, whatever, that isnt what concerns me atm. its the amount of people who don't care or are just giving him a pass. boiling it down to a small ethics issue and it isnt that simple. he knowingly broke the law, probably many times, at the risk of innocent peoples lives.
  23. The issue is that we can assume this isn't his first trip to a sex worker in some capacity and since it isnt legal 95% (your number, not mine) of that industry is still harmful. Statistically speaking its likely he came across a woman who was in dire need of his help and is still being trafficked or just as likely he's encountered a woman who's now dead. and he just got a blowie.
