  1. Yianni could stay on as a Spartan Combat Athlete and keep his shoe deal if he were to leave Ithaca. I am super interested to see who ends up at Cowboy RTC after they graduate college. Could any young PSU guys head out there after college? I wonder if O'Toole will leave Missouri. Keckeisen seems like he will stay at UNI. I figured now was the time for Alirez to leave, but rumor is he was promised a coaching job upon graduation. Maybe Suriano heads out there for a bit.
  2. You are right. Michigan State is there. Hard to see.
  3. SoCon and MAC schools getting nixed early. Only like 2 or 3 left from each of those conference(Citadel/Campbell and George Mason/Clarion/Edinboro) Also interesting thing to note, he listed all of the Big Ten schools to start off except Michigan State
  4. So it looks like these are payments for a 4 week period. So doing the math, Taylor is getting about a million and his assistants are getting about north of $100k(hard to say how much over $100k to go with consideration for deductions for benefits) So this all tells me that Taylor is the highest paid coach in wrestling, and his assistants are paid in the range for assistant coaches at the bit time programs(outside of Terry Brands). And then there is the RTC money that might land in these coaches pockets. So we do not know how much more can be tacked onto those salaries. It could be a lot.
  5. Often 4th with Pitt having many good years
  6. Fair. I do not see the information of who anyone is within the posts(or maybe it is all historical), but I am sure this is true.
  7. you are anonymous on this forum. why don't you just tell us what you heard?
  8. I am guessing that schools can still test and suspend athletes for positive tests for weed, it is just the NCAA tests that no longer include weed in their panel. The rumor always was that the NCAA tests were only for PEDs and not street drugs, but again, these were just rumors.
  9. I would like to see the evidence justifying the ineligibility of Suburb, Sadulaev, and Sidakov. Anyone have any clues?
  10. Tell me about it.
  11. Rumor from where? On Hawkeye Report? Or are you trolling?
  12. Surely he will post on Instagram for where he is when he visits. Kid can't not reach for engagement we will know soon enough, but any rumors as to where he might land? I thought AJ was an accomplice to a robbery/breaking and enterint his brother did in Florida. What happened with that? Can't be too hard for a college coach to confirm or negate that story at least in regards to Anthony.
  13. Cameras to rewatch practice seems like a nice thing to go over film.
  14. He is one of the most accomplished college wrestlers to enter MMA - 4x AA, 3rd, 1st, 8th, 1st. Besides Nickal and Jordan Oliver(is he really fighting?), I think AOC is the third most accomplished wrestler active in MMA. Correct me if I am wrong.
  15. what was said in those deleted posts?
  16. Stevan Micic put out a video of him training at Cornell. Posted sometime in the past week. Micic looks bigger than Vito. Both guys are like 5'6"/5'7".
  17. No disagreement from me for Willie's crystal ball. Only thing I can see changing(potential, not right now)is Mullen - moving into 6 to 8 range, and Kueter - moving into 4 - 8 range. Kueter has a lot of upside in my mind. Feldman improved a lot last year. I could see him getting 3rd, but you have to see Yonger for what we saw him as up until NCAAs for outlook going into next season.
  18. Oh shit! With that being public knowledge(I did not know), you'd think Flo would have bumped him down a bit on the big board. He was number 4 in 2023. If you're brazen enough to smoke in bathrooms at tournaments you're in, you probably won't stop when you get to college.
  19. I know you are basically speculating, but i can't help but consider Willie's tweet about how the first thing Taylor needs to do is get rid of the boozers and potheads holding the team back. So I have kept that in mind waiting to see if some guys leave Stillwater. I think the tweet is deleted, unsure. Can't find it now.
  20. Ttal NCAA athletes by school and the payout per athlete based on $20M shares annually back to athletes: Iowa, Nebraska, Penn State- 800 athletes - $25k Ohio State, Michigan - 1000 athletes - $20k Missouri - 550 athletes - $36k All are ballpark numbers and Google. Still, interesting to look at. You would need to cut a lot of sports to grow that number. I am going to guess title XI will not allow the money to go to just football and basketball.
  21. Yeah and to be honest, as a Buckeye fan, I was pretty sold on him from listening to him in interviews. He says the right things, all the time, but you Believe it and his new approach and tactics last season backed it all up.
  22. What schools have them and what can they do about it? What schools will have them in the future with recruits coming in? At Iowa, jammed up between 165 and 174 - seems like one AA threat will sit this year At OK State, Merrill or Carroll will need to occupy opposite weight classes for at least 3 season - possible future logjam At tOSU, Mendez and Bouzakis will need to go up next tear to make way for Davino to get in the lineup At Penn State, some blue chip recruits or pas AA's are going to have to sit - is there a way around this? There are many others
