  1. They seriously said that? Jayden just wrestled 55kg - 121lbs.
  2. It is is a tossup but def lean Okie State. They could both win 7
  3. Is Tagen Jamison staying at 141? What's gonna happen between Vega, Jamison, Swiderski?
  4. Is Ryder U20 eligible. Will he be at trials?
  5. Interesting to see Masoumi not get to an underhook once. Zare had head position the whole match and did not allow that underhook to do any work. Many Iranians do not need head position for their underhook, but this is what Zare did to stop it. He stuck his head right into the underhook side ahoulder. Also, Zare pushed him to the edge when it was 2-1, and Masoumi dropped his head to try to stay in and he got snapped down. I've never seen Masoumis head down or hands on the mat. He usually does all the pushing. Masoumi dictates everything about the matches he is in except with Zare. When he was losing, his shots had no set ups.
  6. There was an Iranian 125kg who wrestled for Azerbaijan. I cannot remember if Greco or Freestyle. Only one I have ever seen.
  7. BJJ is low impact? So many of the old men who've had a black belt for 15 or 20 years have spinal fusions. I'd say it's worse than wrestling because most people don't wrestle as long as people do BJJ.
  8. The smaller Mirasola has always had more success too, yet the lineup fit at Penn State is an issue becYse of 197. How did you hear this? He looks it. 220 is small enough to cause problems, but it's a very different heavyweight field next year. None of the top guys are pushing the weight limit aside from maybe Nathan Taylor, but Feldman beat him last November.
  9. Kyle Snyder might be the OG.
  10. Well you can trust Basch. Who the ***duck** is Jawn Cena?
  11. do we really believe this Jawn Cena guy? He has 115 followers. Just because he made a graphic does not make it real.
  12. Care to elaborate?
  13. SoFans need to get over the idea of alumni coming there to coach with DT. Although I've heard JO is a great partner/coach
  14. Why not Facundo 165 and Lockett 174?
  15. Needing better partners is such a bull*I poop my pants, don't laugh at me* statement. Does it even need to be explained why it's so dumb?
  16. 2 of 6 will see the lineup
  17. Don't be so dramatic. It is everyone's first thought and how most college kids evaluate which school to go to - is there a sport for me in the lineup? You seriously think that it is not demoralizing to these kids who go to Penn State with high hopes AND cannot make the lineup AND the guy in front of them has plenty of eligibility remaining? Cool, yeah let me stay in the room and focus on my freestyle goals. The kids are going to start leaving. I will concede that kids might take a chance on losing one year of eligibility to see if they can win the spot(ie Facundo), but they will leave before they lose two.
  18. Who should replace Tom Ryan? Who would do a better job than him? If Dake is in the market to be a head coach, then they should do it. All of the other recent medalists are not in the market to be a coach. So please, tell me who ?
  19. My opinion, and I guess it is beginning to seem like an outdated view, is that you shouldn't being in guys from the portal when you already have someone. Why take Welsh when you have Ryder, a U20 silver medalist. Oh an Will Henckel will have overlapping eligibility with everyone too. Oh, and Connor Mirasola is coming out of redshirt at 197 And Josh Barr isn't going down to 184 to make that work. Why take Ono when you have Marcus Blaze, two AAs at 133, and a Nate Desmond who will be stuck behind Lilledahl, and Lilledahl might even need to go up to 133 in the future. Carl is selling memberships to the Penn State wrestling room, and that seems to be all that these kids care about. Blue chip recruits are going to continue to lose years of eligibility there, and they think they are better for it.
  20. Dark Horse All-Americans by weight: 125 - None 133 - Van Dee(17) - 7th 141 - None 149 - Drexler(22) - 8th 157 - Chumbley(20) - 4th 165 - None 174 - None 184 - Washington (22) - 8th 197 - McDanel(20) - 8th 285 - None
  21. Carter has wins over 6 of the 2025 AA's. The only one he did not wrestle this year was Foca. That seems unique, but maybe it isn't. 3 were major decisions or more(he beat Jaxon Smith twice - tech and major but only counting for 1 of the 3). I voted for Carter.
  22. It's not a fair accusation. I was trying to say that there are no good accusations. I listed off all the recent guys and how they aren't suspicious. Reading your response to my comment made me see that I did not word it about Kasak very well. Oh well, maybe chill out because I also said, "I just do not get it. And we have Warner and Marinelli being whiney bitches online about it." Not sure why you're piecing up my comment and misrepresenting what I said. Gun to my head, who from Penn State has done steroids? I would go with Taylor with low confidence. I think failure is a good motivator to do steroids. I'm not a journalist or on television. Get over it. David Taylor is my all time favorite wrestler.
  23. So who besides Kasak is a fair accusation? I can see why people say Kasak. He has acne and he grew. But who else? Haines was cutting his ass off and went up to 174. Not suspect to me Cassar grew but not a suspicious amount Barr is a small 197. Not suspect Starocci not suspect. Brooks not suspect Kerkvliet grew naturally into heavyweight. I just do not get it. And we have Warner and Marinelli being whiney bitches online about it. There is a connection to Colavita's Treigning Lab with multiple Penn State guys, but Dillahaw is the only one who went there are popped, but that was EPO. And then Downey accused DT of steroids, which honestly is the only good accusation. He grew a lot and he failed for long enough making the team that I can imagine he would be willing to do it.
  24. What in the actual ***duck**. I am tired of talking about AA threats sitting on the bench at Penn State.
  25. So weird to me that he didn't go 86kg. Never saw a legitimate reason for why. Him going 97kg at one point so bizarre, especially considering he was gonna give up wrestling after Olympics.
