My NCAA top seed and champ predictions

Didn't Jimmy lose his bet with the first Caliendo/Messenbrink match? -

Most anticipated potential matches at NCAA’s?

not sure what the likelihood of this happening is but Teemer vs. Andonian would be wild -
It's not like Williams stalled the entire match. He certainly didn't wrestle a heavy hand-fighting match like Swiderski wanted but he did what he had to do to win. I mean he was up 7-2 before getting injured. Swiderski is maybe kicking himself for not bringing that final-minute energy all match. Im sure they will meet again anyway.

Carr has looked great as of late and he's undefeated in duals throughout college. I'm going with Carr, for now, wouldn't be surprised if we see a repeat of last year with KOT losing now but winning at nationals.
-
Im surprised so many people are picking Ayala to win. Spratley has looked really good as of late while Ayala has been battling an illness. I still give the edge to Ayala but would not be surprised at all if Spratley wins
-
How do you think this dual plays out? Lots of matchups that could go either way. Here are my predictions w/ brief explanations 125: Ayala dec. Spratley (3-0) Spratley has looked great as of late whereas Ayala has slowed down a bit. I still believe Ayala is a slightly better wrestler and his resume shows it. 133: Fix maj dec. Schriever/Teske (3-4) Fix majored Teske last year and Teske has had an up-and-down season. Fix likely bonuses both wrestlers 141: Woods dec. Jamison (6-4) This one could be 12-5 Jamison or 4-1 SV Woods. Jamison is strong and hard to score on, however, Woods (when healthy) is one of the best in the country. Assuming he's healthy, he should have the edge 149: Rathjen dec. Williams/Alvarez (9-4) I've been impressed with Rathjen this year, solid technique, and notable wins over good guys. Williams has been very up and down this season, maybe something bothering him mentally. Williams could surprise us but I believe it's likely that Rathjen will get the win 157: Travis dec. Franek (9-7) Lots of people will probably disagree with me here. Teague's offense is very underrated, he gets in on everyone's legs, and his defense has been impressive too, especially for being undersized. I believe Teague's attacks will pay off and he will win a close decision. 165: Olejnik dec. Caliendo (9-10) This one I am not as confident in. I think people have figured Izaak out and his main attacks, however, I think he gets the lone takedown of this match and wins a close one. Just basing this on their wins this year. I believe Olejnik's resume is a little more impressive this year. 174: Kennedy dec. Thompson (12-10) Thompson could pull off the upset considering his solid defense and big move potential but I think Kennedy is too technically sound and will be able to finish his shots. 184: Plott maj dec. Arnold/Riggins (12-14) Plott has put up a lot of points this season against quality competition. I think he racks up the scoring in an important dual, even against Arnold. 197: Glazier dec. Surber (15-14) Surber has been battling injuries all season and has not looked great. Glazier has produced an impressive season so far. 285: Doucet dec. Hill/Kueter (15-17) Not much to say here. Doucet likely comes out on top by a point or so. Final: 15-17 (OSU)

how do you interact with this bracket?
-
Kind of a hot take but I think Travis upsets Chittum
-
What do you think about this weekend's dual? Here are my predictions but I would love to see others. 125: Spratley dec. Terukina (3-0) 133: Fix maj dec. Frost (7-0) 141: Echemendia dec. Jamison (7-3) 149: Swiderski dec. Alvarez (7-6) 157: Chittum dec. Travis (7-9) 165: Carr dec. Olejnik (7-12) 174: Thompson dec. Gaitan (10-12) 184: Plott dec. Feldkamp (13-12) 197: Surber dec. Broderson (16-12) 285: Bastida dec. Doucet (16-15) Final Score: 16-15 in favor of Ok State Almost all of these matches could go either way. What do you think? I think it's important to note that OSU wrestles Northern Iowa the night before while ISU wrestles OU.

Tagen Jamison over Brock Hardy 13-5 to take 5th
-
Anyone know what's going on with Mirzo? I knew he transferred to OSU in the offseason but I don't even see him on the official roster. He also beat AJ Heeg and Mower at the Broncho open but wrestled unattached.
-
So what do you do with Carter Young?
-
Where does Alvarez even fit in the lineup? Redshirt Carter?
-
With rumors of Koll leaving for Oklahoma and Griffith transferring out, do y'all think Stanford is wanting to be done with their wrestling program? I find it strange for Koll to be leaving so soon. Maybe he isn't feeling good about the future of the program and wants to get out?
-
I know Travis (157) is in the portal but i haven't heard any news about Trevor (125)
-
With rumors of Koll going to Oklahoma, do you think any Stanford wrestlers follow him there?
-
Any word on Trevor Mastro? I know he took some time off this past season but is he coming back? Sounds like he was dealing with mental and physical issues.
-
Oklahoma wrestling has been on the hot seat for some time now, dealing with Title IX issues. Luckily alumni and donors have been keeping the program afloat for awhile. I've heard that OU really wants their wrestling program to work

Sounds Like OU is getting Rob Koll, he is visiting Norman this week
