  1. Here’s the thing: If they went through the appropriate processes (Congress) to change the budget, that would be fine. That’s how it’s supposed to work. The President is not a king. If the next government funding bill kills all of these jobs and is signed into law, that’s sad, but that’s the appropriate process. Unfortunately for Elon and Co, they were ordered to stop what they were doing and destroy all copies of data by a federal judge. If they don’t, they go to jail. Another restored 3,000 USAID workers, where they will resume doing what federal law has authorized them to do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I don’t know who “Rachel” is. I’ve heard of The View, but have never watched it. No TVs or cable at work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Oh? What is their pay grade? Do they have government email addresses? Are they also being paid by anyone else? Have they filed appropriate conflict of interest forms? Have those been approved by a non-partisan approval authority? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Let’s do a quick test: You guys (Willie in particular) are posting things from Twitter as if they are official government documents. If I create a Twitter account, gin up a (fake) receipt for the funding stream of Willie’s USAID-funded sex change operation, and post that to Twitter, will you believe that it is real? 5. But they don’t. They aren’t government employees. Both of which are a requirement to access any information system. This is pretty basic stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. But unlike Musk’s kids, they have an actual need to know, which is a requirement under the law to access any government computer system. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. How about this: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Tell me what changes in recruiting the Army has made in communication style or policy that would boost recruiting numbers. Please back any assertions up with official government guidance (which is all public). I’ll start: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/army-recruiting-up-data-show-trend-began-before-election-current-former-army-officials-say.amp Last sentence in the article: “In other words, the positive recruiting trend began before the election.” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. The method is to pass a new law. Not some people who have no official government role breaking into government facilities and government computer systems, and likely committing crimes in the process. That last sentence - are you suggesting that Trump’s budgets didn’t include many of these things? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Please provide specific examples. I’ll go first: Federal agencies (CBP, for example) arrested a record number of illegal immigrants attempting to cross the border. Are you suggesting that they DID NOT arrest a record number of people? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. If Biden signed a bill into law to send candy corn to the UK until 2030, Trump can’t just stop sending it. It is funded by a literal federal law. He doesn’t have that unilateral power. His personal candy corn policy is irrelevant. Another relevant example: Idiots on the far left complained that Biden was “funding” Israel. “Genocide Joe” and all that. Turns out, federal law compelled the federal government to supply/sell Israel certain weapons and at certain rates. Biden (and Trump) literally cannot stop doing it. It’s been in every NDAA since I cared to look at them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalko
  12. He can try. Unless the city/state is actively aiding and abetting, he has no case. The cities/states nothing is not a crime. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I’m going to blow your mind: They authorize discretionary funds for them. Just like military units have funds that they can use for a wide variety of purposes. Recreation, for example. Surely this isn’t a surprise to you? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. There is no federal law that compels cities or states to help with immigration enforcement. Again, 10th Amendment. Pretty simple stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Exactly. Immigration law is exclusively the province of the federal government. The federal government cannot compel states or cities to do anything regarding immigration. They MAY, if they wish. “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. She’s going to get stomped into the ground by SCOTUS. A clear violation of the 10th Amendment. Also, the administration suspended all work at the Civil Rights division of the DOJ, so I’m guessing that’s not happening. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Nothing like an obese draft dodger who wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire to inspire kids to join the military, eh? Or, are you referring to the SECDEF, a stolen valor, drunk tabless bitch, who was passed over for command in the ***ducking** National Guard? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. A spending bill that allocates money for X, Y and Z that is signed into law is just that: a law. The president, as the head of the executive branch, is supposed to be in charge of executing the law. Are you admitting that you don’t understand how government spending works? If the government (House, Senate, President) collectively vote on and sign a bill into law, and it says we have to buy $1,000,000,000 of candy corn and send it to the UK each year, that’s the law. The next president doesn’t get to unilaterally decide to end that. Congress (House, Senate) have to vote to repeal it and the President has to sign THAT bill into law to repeal it. 20. Blaze, Forrest and Duke have had more success at the senior level. Like, a lot more. Blaze beat Megaludis, Lilledahl, and Forrest to take 3rd at OTTs. Jax beat DeShazer and Liam Cronin, then lost to Blaze at OTTs. Duke beat Lewan and Andonian at the Farrell. Beat Yahya Thomas to take third at non-Oly WTTs, and beat Lewan and Jarred Jacques before that.
  21. That doesn’t sound like temporary resettlement to me… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Do you honestly think that Israel is going to let them back in after they’ve rebuilt it? If Israel views the Palestinians as a security threat, why would they do that? Doesn’t make any sense. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I’m wondering if Barr was one of the guys to catch the flu last. Cael mentioned that he didn’t have his usual pace in his weekly media scrum. Kerk and SVN were sick a couple weeks ago. SVN looked spectacular against Parco after not having his usual motor against Lovett. Kerk looked great after not looking good against Andrews and Slavikouski. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. He’s said that he wants multiple Arab countries to take all of the Palestinians. After discussions with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump suggested relocating Palestinians to neighboring countries and implementing a U.S.-led reconstruction effort following the devastating war since Hamas forces attacked Israel from the territory on October 7, 2023. https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-gaza-israel-saudi-egypt-jordan-palestinians-hamas-war-2026337 If Donald Trump uses US taxpayer money and troops to fund the removal of Palestinians from their own land, and to rebuild the area for someone else, I.e., Israel, yeah, that’s a terrible idea.
