  1. Given that he certified below 165lbs, I don’t think this is true. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Didn’t Mike Mal do the broadcast for a recent event on Flo? Cal Baptist or something like that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Penn State has two likely Mexican National Team members in RBY and Dr. Valencia. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. He spent his senior year at the OTC. He just competed at U23s Worlds, which is another helpful hint. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I'm going to LOL when it's for PSU.
  6. You understand that Starocci took a RS, and this is his 4th season, right? Brooks didn't take a RS, went in 2020 (cancelled NCAAs), and has won in each year the NCAA championship was held since then. If they both win NCAAs, they will both have won the 4 NCAA (all) championships they were able to participate in. Also, easier? No. These guys are at a much higher level than guys of 20 years ago. The entire field is.
  7. Tried to destroy Matt Lee’s knee this year. Still lost, though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I’ve seen them register with minutes to go for previous events. That said, I don’t think many of them care if they are seeded or not. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. They will be illegal, come January 1st, under any sport with WADA as the anti-doping organization. Source: WADA. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Not from what I’ve heard. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Where have I said MM is a contender? I think his ceiling is 3rd this year. I’ve been pretty clear about that. 165 is insanely deep yet again. I think Mesenbrink will win multiple titles, yes, but not this year. And, guess what: Haines likely beat MM for the 157lb spot. They both certified below 165lbs, and Haines is the 157lb starter. Cael doesn’t play favorites. Please quote me on the “national team in high school” thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Have I? Sealey could wrestle 157. Ferrari would be at 165, which has been a deeper weight for a long, long time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. You failed to account for a certain U20 World Champ in the bracket. Unrelated, but Cunningham’s kid is coming on strong. I could see him being a 174-184 in college. Certainly chose the right parents. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. He’s NOT certified. That’s what the red circle with the X means. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. If he weighs 330lbs and certified today, you won’t see him until late February. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. But not enough to certify. Got it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. Holy crap, man. It means he’s rostered but not certified. This isn’t difficult. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Do you understand the difference between “planning on wrestling” and certifying? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Because he hasn’t certified. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Top-10 165lb NCAA wrestlers are really good, too. Many of whom are 4-5 years older than him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Good point. But I’m guessing that’s a bit exaggerated. Let’s say he’s 315. He could easily drop 7-8lbs a week in December and clock in at 289 around the New Year. Certify, and he’s a week from wrestling at 285. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. The youngest is a senior in high school who would be curb stomped by the top 10 guys at 165. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. What? Kerk weighed in at 254.something for the Lehigh dual. He’s never clocked in at more than 260, IIRC. And, only times he’s ever been “light” were when he was coming back from a staph infection that hospitalized him, his freshman year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Now THOSE are some quality losses. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Shane Griffith: Carr, Joseph, O’Toole. He’ll get a crack at Starocci in the regular season, maybe at B1Gs, maybe at NCAAs. And, depending on draw, he might find Mekhi Lewis on his side of the NCAA bracket.
