  1. Here’s USADA’s documentation on it. https://www.usada.org/spirit-of-sport/education/is-it-prohibited-or-dangerous-for-athletes-using-iv-infusions-for-re-hydration-and-recovery/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Aaron Brooks, who just completed his final NCAA season and had a handful of senior level freestyle matches … underperformed? The guy was seconds away from beating the winner of his bracket and took a decisive bronze medal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Absolutely forbidden except as medically necessary. To treat an infection, insulin, etc. It’s literally referred to as the “No Needles” policy. https://stillmed.olympics.com/media/Documents/Athletes/Fight-Against-Doping/Beijing-2022/IOC-Needle-Policy-for-the-Olympic-Winter-Games-Beijing-2022-EN.pdf Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Well, actually, the men got their teeth kicked in by several countries . The US men had one (1) individual gold. Italy, Hungary and France had more men win gold than we did. We were on par with Ireland, China, Australia, Romania and Germany. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. That’s a crazy pin call. No change in position for 20-30 seconds. I guess they got bored? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. The smile from Dake at the end. Awesome comeback. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Are you suggesting that he is a persona non grata now?

  10. Stomped Femke Bol into the ground. That was awesome. For all of the hype of a "rivalry", it's pretty one sided and Bol hasn't been anywhere near her the last two Olympics.
  11. They are on opposite sides of the bracket...
  12. I remember Zahid grabbing Brooks' singlet twice but only giving up one point, and Brooks being robbed of a TD and given a 1 instead, and Zahid still lost. But, yeah, Zahid totally beat Brooks.
  13. If they had 55, like they do at Worlds, she could go there. Or 57kg. But, yeah, unless they split the difference between 50 and 53 with a brand new weight class, I'm not sure how adding the non-Olympic weights back in actually helps her.

  15. She’s so good at that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Yes. They were suspended for a while, actually. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. From the linked article: “On Wednesday, Augé said Walz served in the Minnesota National Guard from April 8, 1981, to May 16, 2005, after transferring from the Nebraska National Guard. "While serving in Minnesota," she said, "his military occupational specialties were 13B—a cannon crewmember who operates and maintains cannons—and 13Z—field artillery senior sergeant," she said. "In Nebraska, he served as a 11Z—infantry senior sergeant—and a 71L—administrative specialist. He held multiple positions within field artillery such as firing battery chief, operations sergeant, first sergeant and culminated his career serving as the command sergeant major for the battalion.” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I’m aware of how military promotions work. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. LOL. There are hundreds of GWOT-era CSMs and First Sergeants who never completed their required schooling before getting out. Yet, they were still selected from their peers, promoted, wore the rank, and did the ***ducking** job. I’d bet you a mortgage payment the guys who wrote the article yelled at their troops for having their hands in their pockets when it was 15 degrees outside. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. “Was only a master sergeant”. Well, no. He was a First Sergeant, which while a parallel E-8 rank, is a higher level than Master Sergeant. Saying that he never rose above Master Sergeant is not true. Then, he was selected for, promoted to, wore the rank and served as a CSM. While he failed to meet the terms of his service obligation and was in fact demoted to Master Sergeant, the authors of the article do, in fact, refer to him as CSM multiple times. 21. There's a no-needles policy in place, so if that happened, they're all getting the boot. Also, I refuse to believe that an athlete that was anywhere near 50kg (aka, 53-54kg) couldn't make 50kg safely. I'm also wondering if they resorted to some less-than-legal means (see: needles and IV saline bags) to get her rehydrated again after the Day 1 weigh-in.
  22. I feel like Myles Amine draws into a pretty decent shot at a Bronze at every Worlds or Olympics.
  23. Hope KGZ likes getting her oil checked. Oborududu is not subtle with that. At all.
  24. Just bulldozing the Turk. Awesome.
  25. I’m guessing he’s like 30lbs overweight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
