  1. should probably get yourself checked before throwing stones
  2. i do not think this is a reasonable phrasing of the question and it belies a hostility to trans women generally. i think, with my full chest, that you should go ***duck** yourself.
  3. i'm not too proud to eat crow
  4. i owe @TNwrestling an apology
  5. i have read this dozens of times and i can't tell if you replied to the post you intended
  6. I love Cornell. I am Cornell. AND I'm an insane leftist with a very specific attitude about our nation's approach to the military and military culture generally. That said... The admissions requirements for West Point and Cornell would not be depicted as a big West Point circle with a little Cornell circle inside it. There are a lot of West Point admittees who couldn't get into Cornell and a LOT of Cornell students who couldn't get into West Point (like me, and not just because I couldn't do all the pushups.) The average SAT score is probably higher at Cornell but that's not particularly important. The military academies are looking for different things - a committment to something, a desire to serve - than the Ivies are and it's reflected in admissions, even for those recruited in part for athletics.
  7. saw the topic and even though the first half of the page was not as toxic as i had expected, i'd rather rinse my eyes with bleach than read the entire thread.
  8. checking in after some time away and i want to make sure that someone explained this joke to you
  9. no idea! who cares! your joke detector needs a tuneup.
  10. Come on. Read what you posted yourself more critically: The "Olympic redshirt" is a leave of absence just like you can get a "medical redshirt" retroactively. You are splitting hairs and I don't think you are right definitionally. Everyone at the time called it an Olympic redshirt because it extended their eligibility.
  11. I will admit that on reflection there wasn't as much difference between Arujau and Kememer (yes, it was Kemerer) than I had thought. Kemerer was only ~6 months older than Arujau when he graduated HS and 7=7 except in freestyle. That said, it was novel in the immediate aftermath of COVID for Kemerer to come back for a second senior year. Arujau basically had a long delayed sophomore year after his 2020 Olympic redshirt and the cancelation of the 2021 season by the Ivies. Plus, Koll wasn't even there anymore! So Kemerer is more egregious on crtieria.
  12. there absolutely is an olympic redshirt in the ivies. arujau, yianni and dean all took 2020 off because of their finish at the previous US Open. the season happened, only the NCAAs got canceled.
  13. All I'll say is that this guy was born in December 1996. (but i hate the recruiting of ferrari regardless of his age.)
  14. no need to defend koll beyond the obvious: "pioneering the greyshirt" is a pejorative way of saying he figured out a hack to ivy redshirt rules that let him maintain a nationally competitive program. greyshirts don't create an advantage that other schools don't have. tbh if other schools wanted to do a greyshirt AND a redshirt there's nothing stopping them. i think there should be more wrestlers on their second marriage and lipitor by their senior year.
  15. RIDICULOUS! UNC should NOT allow this woman on their wrestling team!
  16. safesport and most governments don't have the libertarian attitude on prostitution re: consenting adults. it's generally considered adjacent to trafficking and coercion. you think you want a firm hand until it's not the hand you're paying for that grabs you.
  17. wanted to share the good word with a wayward soul
  18. i don't want to take anything away from gable's run to the final but geno obviously didn't think there was enough time after the restart to end up on his ass and didn't bother mounting a real defense and he thought wrong
  19. snyder discussion shockingly mature
  20. my preference would be a top stall results in a return to neutral with no escape point
  21. dylan palacio did a lot of these. i'm never quite sure how many were real and how many were wannabe influencer gags.
  22. who knows if he'd even be a good coach. not all of the greats are, because the things they do so naturally are impossible to teach. i'll tell you one thing he probably doesn't want: to get kicked in the face.
