  1. I'm interested as well. Let us know.
  2. LOL Let's not talk about the pope. What goes in Vatican stays in Vatican. I'm more interested in Bob Woodward!
  3. The car companies have some recurring revenue ideas that you're going absolutely love!
  4. I'm highly uncomfortable with public schools teaching Creationism in something other than a religion class. For starters, it would have to be watered down by being agnostic with respect to any particular religion. Who would even want religion taught to their kid by a biology teacher?
  5. Eastern Colorado periodically wants this as well. They typically bounce between wanting to be a new state and joining Wyoming. Quick glance at eastern Oregon shows they struggle. Maybe a change is in order.
  6. Without assigning blame or credit, anybody know what the Trump administration's response to the balloons was?
  7. What was his administration's response? Different from Biden's? I don't actually know but it looks like they just let them float by to rendezvous in their lair on an uninhabited island just west of the Azores.
  8. Well, I understand that. However, this is obviously nontrivial. It is a failure of his administration that he was unaware. That is on him.
  9. What did his administration do?
  10. Is the klan even allowed on Twitter? You give people way, way too much credit. There is no standing up. That is the attention they crave. Note that I am not saying people can't believe or express whatever they want, crazy and otherwise. I am saying if I am responsible for a platform there are going to rules. Teenagers bullying each other into anorexia? Hate speech? Propaganda? Nope, nope, nope. I've given you the best answer I can. Shorter answer is the platform itself.
  11. The organization of klan meetings followed by cross burnings is. So is the rigging of elections. And an endless number of others. The result is failure of the platform and a outrageous behavior. Criminal and otherwise.
  12. Laws and norms of society are the primary driver. One of which is a balance between freedom of expression and the purposeful destruction of society. Social media can and is used to spread good messages and evil, so it is relevant to the message. Shocking? What? It is an acknowledgement of the human experience. Laws, rules and regulations exist for a reason. In every society and endeavor. What is the inevitable result of a social media platform with zero rules?
  13. Fast and Furious anyone?
  14. I understand your point of view. People are too immature and they need supervision. I can't imagine a more ineffective mechanism to ostracize Neo-Nazis than giving them a platform to spread their message to billions.
  15. We see things differently. Horse dewormer? Russia targeting tossup districts with lies and propaganda 3 days before an election to get their choice elected? Glorification of Hitler and Holocaust denial? C'mon. You can't be serious. MOST of society rejects bad ideas, but the scale of audience differentiates it from a person on a street corner. People who subscribe to dangerous and crazy ideas may be small in proportion but that doesn't make them small in number. From a platform demographics standpoint, what do you think will result from free speech absolutism?
  16. True. For example, Nebraska could not field a competitive FB team to finance their athletic department. TX on the other hand...
  17. Correct. He sacrificed eligibility, so he gets to pick his own state. Interesting background story - this was actually ducking. There was a kid from Cripple Creek that owned him in the room and he didn't want a humiliating runner up finish.
  18. Because elections are rigged, people die, people get sick, people are scammed, child porn is distributed and so on and so forth. Assuming it was your company, I wouldn't have any options. I can criticize you, likely on your own platform. If you were king for a day, how would you decide what to filter?
  19. Some content has to be filtered. Social media can't allow itself to be the medium for crazies and cynics to spread propaganda and lies that will definitely result in damage to society. People don't have the right to yell fire in a crowded theater. Trump is an easily triggered snowflake. By comparison, half of social media chants vulgarities at Biden on a regular basis and we hear crickets from him.
  20. Their agents collect the coin for them. For the those studying CS and Math, the agents also collect the undergarments the ladies shower them with.
  21. I'd get a very extensive VPN and then you'd see plasmodium1 through plasmodium53, to accommodate dc, usvi and pr. The Pacific island territories are only to be experienced in person.
  22. To be successful, Trump feels he has to make enemies. He carefully cultivates them in social media, at his rallies, debates, press conferences. Every opportunity he gets. Right now, he is creating one in Ron DeSantis. Friends come and go. Enemies accumulate.
  23. Yeah, I was unsure of your question, my fault. I was merely answering the question.
  24. I don't think it is all that significant If you asking why depreciation is significant, it is because the worth of durable goods goes down over time and thus the worth of a company or other entity goes down with it. Why did I post that? An answer to a question from @psikeyhackr
