Of course race relations were worse post Obama. They are drug dealers and rapists. All presidents are attacked at every turn. The high road is optional. The other presidents mostly took it, but Trump figured he would make political hay with his Crazy Nancy, Cryin' Chuck and so on and so forth. Virtually every day he communicated his disgust of over half of the country or their duly elected representatives. In the end, he threw a good portion of his own party under the bus as well. He successfully sowed division, but didn't understand the split. Not really a mistake as he wouldn't have had his success without that behavior. That defines him.

His first executive order was an attempt to gut ACA. We absolutely, positively must reform our health care system. ACA is a step in the right direction. He purposefully sows division as a matter of policy. No other president - none - has ever done that. I have nothing good to say about him or his presidency.

I love this "woe is me" card Trump plays to keep his nuthuggers attached. His NH are so engaged he turned the party of Law and Order into the party that hates law enforcement even more than Antifa and BLM do. Too bad. Deep down, we all know the evidence against him is overwhelming. The indictments, allegations and civil suits are all legit.

If everyone who committed his crimes were imprisoned, there wouldn't be enough prisons in the universe.

Somebody got shot there, so heads roll. Probably easiest path to a jail sentence for her. In his case, the offense is old and victimless plus he won't be rolling over so there is no guarantee of any conviction.

You would not have been caught. No way you get busted for the gun, also highly unlikely you get caught on taxes as there is a shortage of personnel at the IRS. Given you are busted and have similar resources at your disposal, you would get the same treatment he did. If you don't have money for an army of attorneys, you'd be run over.

There are a thousand individual cases to discuss. Doubt they are treated any worse than the average bear.

From a high level, I say they should get bail. On the practical side, they should be treated like everyone else. If people that smash into secure facilities and assault police officers typically get bail, they should get bail.
