Wrestled with Alan on an All Star team back in the day. He's one of my all time Ohio best. Generational indeed. Phillips won IM as a true freshman at 71. Had one HS loss to Ruth. I've always thought he avenged the loss, but I've never found it.

He's wrestled a couple pretty big guys already. He's quick and his low single has been really effective so far. If I was @flyingcement I would guarantee a finals appearance. I believe a top six would be a great weekend. It's going to be a quite a test for many of the Buckeyes. They only have two upperclassmen, three (GR) if Hoffman wrestles(I know you're aware, just throwing out there).
