  1. He is the first of the 3rd generation. Grandfather John wrestled at Iowa State and his 3 boys were the Gophers.
  2. It looks like the first post-Fargo commit for the Class of '27 is Salah Tsarni, MD to Air Force. Runner-up at 175 16U today.
  3. St. Michael-Albertville High School in Minnesota had 5 All Americans in freestyle (4 in Juniors and 1 in 16U).
  4. Mocco weighs more than Ross. 234 vs. 225 this weekend.
  5. Pretty much. Jay Den Williams from Michigan is #29 on MatScouts big board and is uncomitted.
  6. Not to mention the fleet of million dollar combines.
  7. WrestleStat's formula has Koy Hopke ridiculously low at #162. Probably penalizing him for missing his entire true freshman year due to surgery. He has freestyle wins over #5 Nathan Taylor, #21 Daniel Herrara, #36 Jarrett Stoner. Minnesota teammate Bennett Tabor is at #19 and Hopke is probably the slight favorite to win the spot based on results/common opponents.
  8. It's possible. The Kola Borehole in Russia was more than 7 miles deep.
  9. I wonder if any Sooners go with him?
  10. I believe as of today (6/30) this forum is being merged or taken over by a different company, so not sure if this site will still be operational going forward.
  11. I wonder if A.I. will ever learn to speak in Kentucky Mudflap-isms.
  12. Basch and Willie just announced that Ben just had a double lung replacement. Great news.
  13. In a sport that penalizes hands to the face it seems that finger down the bung should be some type of violation whether it be in practice or in competition.
  14. Yeah, the Forrest family is like thanks a lot Bassetts, now we gotta start paying for travel.
  15. The Ferrari added a spare tire.
  16. I'm in the middle of watching this now. Very creepy. Coaches, referees, athletes, doctors, all showering together on a regular basis, wtf?
  17. His ordeal is a good reminder to check the donor box on your driver's license and/or your health care directive. You never know when yourself or a loved one will need a transplant.
  18. Yes, it really is difficult. It's hard enough just doing it based on observable abilities at a given point of time, but it is much more than that. Things like burnout, growth spurts, improvement trajectory, academics, injuries, partying, etc. can all come it to play when looking back at a board years later.
  19. In a thousand years will you, they/them, or anyone really care? I know I don't care right now.
  20. Has Burroughs shirt been discussed? What is that style, business casual pirate?
  21. On Basch and the Brain, Willie said that Ben punctured a rib a week or so which may have led to the infection, but the family wanted to keep it quiet. I'm guessing he meant cracked a rib which punctured a lung.
