  1. That’s crazy. You hypothesize/project/prognosticate all the time. You’re doing it here assuming five 1st year transfers. Yet refuse to with this situation just because Ayala has made the finals? If you would be given one meelion dollars to pick the winner in January, you’d pick Drake Ayala over Masanosuke Ono?
  2. That’s a solid squad, I would expect ~150 points. You would favor Ayala over Ono? I wouldn’t. And no Haines at 174? Not sure I understand
  3. Fall of Civilizations: The Wrestling Nits A story of greed, corruption, incredible lust for power, and especially pure greed. Narrated by Jimmy Cinnabon
  4. I also would guess a lot of these guys’ international goals are greater than those of college. And the Penn State RTC is the place to be. But yeah, see what happens
  5. Someone still has to sit the year after. I’d guess ZR would rather have three tournaments at Penn State than four anywhere else, but we shall see. If he can’t beat Welsh, he probably wasn’t going to place next year anyway. 184 will be loaded.
  6. None of that has anything to do with loyalty. You're completely misrepresenting and confusing that word with competition and performance. Our entire economy and job market is founded on the same principles. And the comments about NOT trying to develop Beard and Nevills, lol. I'm sure that was pursued at the highest level until it wasn't an option(the wrestlers left the program).
  7. Two or three? No, Nebraska would need five finalist type of scorers, and maybe more to replace guys like Pinto, Allred, and McDanel, to have a shot. Again, Braeden Davis outscored all but four of your guys this year. He’s being replaced by arguably the best freestyler in the world. Bartlett gets replaced by the #1 wrestler in this class. CS and GK by legit prospects or someone else who will be immediate AA threats. Nebraska doesn’t do that so quickly, but that’s how PSU reloads. We’re really doing this already? Seems like a little too much optimism and maybe something else.
  8. This is wild. Get a 285 transfer and it’s a 200 point team. Mirasola would probably be in position a year from now to AA. 184 would be a gauntlet for Ryder, maybe low AA
  9. If people are implicating Haines and Kasak, then absolutely. What else do I need to fit in with this mob behavior? Here’s my discussion board investigative motives to match the dermatologists: aging in the college scene, broken down and injured, enhanced vascularity, and someone who’s broken other rules very recently. That’s a better of list of causes than Tyler Kasak’s face and Levi Haines moving up two weights. Maybe Warner and Marinelli can retweet that.
  10. I didn’t think KOT looked bigger than anyone notable he wrestled this year. He’s never really had that physique. I thought Haines looked pretty average-sized at 174 this year. He*l, Patrick Kennedy made him look small.
  11. No kidding. Give it “everything”, for one final shot?
  12. Was he the one that had the meltdown in the Big 12 tourney last year, against Jordan Williams maybe?
  13. No, the LDS church denounces acting upon same-sex attraction and AJ broke the rules yesterday. Cael knows. He can probably throw a bit, New Jersey has great LL baseball programs and Texas is elite.
  14. Jimmy buddy, you gotta know there’s no way Cael would let AJ anywhere near that room. If I was the only other option, he still wouldn’t. Culture culture culture. I don’t think you’ll ever see Barr at anything other than 197. He’ll continue to grow into it. I’m not a huge Mirasola guy, not sure what happens there going forward.
  15. Quite the ending and press for Oklahoma State. Two transfer champs in with no previous NC’s beating two legends of the sport in the last three bouts of the tournament. I would guess they’ll be the first team to beat Penn State one of these years.
  16. I have to agree
  17. I doubt he’d beat Duke. The brothers reuniting would be cool, but it doesn’t make sense.
  18. He’s a talent and seems like a good person too. Hope he finds consistent health, seems like he’s sacrificed a lot.
  19. Sorry, I wish I hadn’t engaged and hope all your guys win tonight. People on the sidelines criticizing anyone out there involved in this setting is wrong, Man in the Arena principle.
  20. My God, the Stout poppa should take the mat against Gable tonight for the grand finale
  21. Too bad Kerk got hurt, would have been a near certainty. And Davis with some magic pinfellery!
  22. Both are nice. We can still stay more objective though with tournament points and the AA numbers. I would use that to argue some assertions, but it’s neither here nor there really. I don’t have a problem with Iowa or Nebraska, just a dislike of Jimmy and ja’s operations. I generally like and respect Nebraska, it’s only personal with a certain poster. Especially when he starts calling out coaches. @jajensen09, did you know that Penn State’s lowest placer is higher than 60% of Nebraska’s team?
  23. Like clockwork
  24. Saying it over and over doesn’t make you right @jajensen09, just solidifies the idiocy. Here come the herd of Nebraska 7th placers, and this is why the dual went 31-7. Another beatdown. Penn State doesn’t quit on the backside like Lovett did last year. THAT is coaching and culture
  25. He can’t, just basing it off some arbitrary completely random Jimmy category like semifinal losses. Just need ja to show up and circle of hate is complete. I would argue with the depth and FACT of 10 AA’s all in the top six, it would be the greatest dual team of all-time. Tournament scoring will probably be the 3rd best in history. “Not close”, good lawd
