  1. Yes. A dimocrat senator who bucked Biden. You may recall that the NY mayor also experienced an investigation after criticizing Biden. Seems to have gone away now.
  2. One was that though the alternates aren’t in the deliberations, they are included in the judges responses to the jury questions. Also the question of why are the instructions not written. May be a way for the judge to maintain closer contact with jury proceedings.
  3. It’s not the existence of alternate jurors that is being commented on, it’s their utilization that seems uncommon.
  4. The judge is including alternate jurors in all the proceedings, leading speculation that he will simply replace jurors who vote against conviction.
  5. No. The situation involving your ‘charging in the alternative’ as you stated it, applies to different elements of one law. Whereas, in this trial, the judge is saying the jurors can find that he is guilty if he intended to commit any of three separate crimes. One of campaign finance; one of tax; and one of falsifying bank records. Three separate crimes, not three separate elements of the same crime.
  6. There was mention of a Rutgers in another thread. But Rutgers are tomatoes.
  7. Are you sure about this? Cause you’re talking about elements, as in different elements of the same crime, when in Trump’s case it’s three different crimes with elements all their own.
  8. Where, when will they wrestle?

  12. It should be from the time the new coach is named. If the old coach is changing schools, that’s one thing, but Smith retired, and the wrestlers can’t go with him.
  13. Article explains that we can’t have both AI and ‘green’ energy. “The rise of artificial intelligence has re-ignited concerns about electricity availability and strains on the power grid. Over the past two decades, worries that data centers would overwhelm local electricity providers have been muted because our computers keep getting more efficient. But this time, the concerns that there won’t be enough juice for AI and data centers are justified. Yes, this time is different. And the key difference is Joe Biden’s EPA. On May 9, that agency published a rule in the Federal Register that, if it survives legal challenges, will force the closure of every coal-fired power plant in America and prevent the construction of new baseload gas-fired plants. If the rule survives those challenges, it will strangle AI in the crib.” https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2024/05/ai-and-green-on-collision-course.php
  14. Most of the hinges in the case, so far, are the lies the prosecution has told the judge. An intriguing hinge will be when Jack Smith has to prove he has legitimate authority to prosecute the case. I would have thought they’d have established that first, but this is being run by the gov’t.
  15. Notwithstanding the claims of the low information posters, the FBI agents were ordered to not wear any identifying insignia, to carry their weapons concealed, wear polo style shirts or similar plainclothes, not to carry their badges. How do you identify yourself as law enforcement without your badge? We can be thankful that level heads prevailed, somewhat. FBI members balked at the raid from the time they were first informed of the plan. It took several months for Garland’s demands, undoubtedly initiated by the White House, to be carried out. Time, during which no efforts were being made to retrieve any documents. Time, that may have been the difference in whether the Trumps were present at the time of the raid. God works in mysterious ways.
  16. Some of you might appreciate Dan Bongino’s take on this topic: https://rumble.com/v4wqpkt-the-fbi-screws-over-america-again.-ep.-2255-05222024.html?mref=22lbp&mc=56yab In addition to this, the documents reveal that the files at Mara Lago were not one of a kind documents that needed to be returned to the Archives. They were mere copies of original documents that the Archives already possessed. They didn’t want Trump to have the ones that linked high ranking dimocrats to wrongdoing. A setup, a coverup, at risk of a firefight, because - by any means necessary.
  17. It’s astonishing how some don’t realize there is anything beyond the surface. The preparation to carry out the warrant was not boilerplate in any respect. From the outset, it was ordered and authorized from the White House and Merrik Garland. It was prepared as if the Former President would be there. It anticipated that he would object and obstruct. It provided for a medic on hand, triage, emergency transportation, and a ready trauma center. For the purpose of collecting a few Presidential files, some of which were likely planted, a process that that was normally handled by lawyers and judges was escalated into a predicate for an assassination. It was a warrant that should never have been requested, much less granted, or enforced All participating parties must be held to account This is becoming more likely as the documents reveal the fraudulent conspiracy for what it is. And the FBI says it is just normal operating procedure: First we set you up, then we try to kill you.
