    It appears to me that the top team in the NCAA has lots of ego and the team generally conforms to the coach. And it’s working.

    He beat the guy OU sent to the NCAAs, but he was light for 157.

    I believe so, but it looks like they took eight wrestlers to the tournament, five of which were transfers. Compared to OSU, who took ten, none of which were transfers. Of course, with the Cowboy’s poor performance many of the boards are populated with calls for changing the coaching staff.

    Would this idea mean dropping dual matches and going to tournaments only, like FS? Would it also apply to Worlds and Olympics? It’s a long time till November, huh?

    Given how hard Roselli worked the portal and recruiting in general, they will have a hard time finding someone who’ll bring immediate improvement.

    Why doesn’t anybody offer Askren a job? Seems he’d have a line on recruiting.

    I’ll hate it if VV leaves, but I don’t know what’s going on in the room. As for Williams, it’s said that if he can funnel all, or most, of his attention on wrestling he’s real good. But sometimes he gets off track.

    That works pretty good usually. But haven’t I heard that Alvarez has had issues with making that weight? And though Williams didn’t perform as well as VV at the Scuffle, he’s expected to do better with a little experience under his belt. He was good in high school, but it seems to me it was at a little heavier weight.
