  1. wonder who replaces Roper? maybe they add Keckeisen to the staff?
  2. 125: Eddie Ventresca 133: Dillon Campbell or Aaron Seidel 141: Tom Crook (guilty as charged) 149: Ethen Miller 157: Caleb Henson 165: Rafael Hipolito 174: Gage Wright or Colin Gaj 184: Ryan Burton 197: Sonny Sasso 285: Jim Mullen
  3. Ethen Miller, Hipolito and Church have all taken redshirts as well. Hopefully Henson isn't taking a redshirt.
  4. interesting. i' guess hipo to 165 and miller at 149. unless Henson wanted to go 157 and Miller could go back to 149.
  5. someone will take his role, but he's an irreplaceable type I think. Good interiew on Basch. I'm excited to see Gilman as a head coach some day.
  6. Willie McDougald in the portal.
  7. Jordan Decatur petitioning for another year and into the portal. "Back-to-back-to-back Ohio high school state champion (D-II)133-7 overall high school record...NHSCA freshman national champion...Two-time ‘Who’s #1’ (FloWrestling) event winner...Four-time Ironman placer...Three-time Fargo freestyle national champion... 2018 Cadet World Team member"

  9. With Dean Peterson and Leo DeLuca onboard, I wonder if Cruz would care enough to transfer again to a place where he can start. He'd be an upgrade for most teams out there.
  10. sounds like he would bump to 174? or steed would?
  11. Pitt Johnstown is adding the following three sports to bolster enrollment: Women's Wrestling Men's and Women's Swimming @Wrestleknownothing
  12. Carter Neves from Ohio State to Chattanooga for the first time from any wrestler since Rocky Jordan. Gavin Brown from Ohio State to Purdue Both now have a great chance to be a starter at their new program
  13. I want to see Illinois pick him up and either he or Connell go 197. I'd like to see Illinois get Carter Young as well and let him eat meals again at 157. 125: Riley 133: Byrd (Champ) 141: Pucino (R16) 149: Webster (R12) 157: Young (2X NQ) 165: Scoles (R12) 174: Moore (True freshman NQ) 184: Connell (NQ) 197: Thompson (True freshman NQ) 285: Marinopolous / Slight chance of Luffman being granted another year
  14. Andre Gonzales to Cal Poly and Christian Carroll to Wyoming
  15. I was equally confused unless they know someone is on their way out
  16. Cyclone board reporting Ethen Miller has just arrived for a visit to Ames
  17. It's official now brother
  18. I like Gilman - will root for him wherever he ends up
  19. I think Young is also much better at freestyle.
  20. Doesn't really fit in this thread but Kurt Phipps is doing his masters in structural engineering at NC State - while noting that he is both: 1) Out of eligibility but 2) Totally down to help out with the program while he is there Good on the young man.
  21. At 149, they have three guys ahead of him (Jamison, Swiderski, Travis) with at least one of those guys being pressured to go up. And maybe another to go down. Either way, there is no starting spot for Young at OK St. (barring injury)
  22. He's going to have much better training partners on the team: Spratley, Hughes, Sakamoto, McComas and then RBY and Fix at the RTC. I think the will challenge for a title at 133.
  23. He would definitely have a shot - I wouldn't favor him over Barbosa or Ford though. That's not to say he wouldn't be a good addition to the team.
