  1. Cornella is very good and impressively strong for a freshman. I hope we can see a match-up between him and Crook
  2. As well as mail men and pool boys
  3. I think he would have been allowed to compete based on your first point. But there is a catch with the five matches on RS rule - it only applies to freshman (which is a bit odd)
  4. Thanks for the link! I'm rooting for Bellarmine and will he watching
  5. Seems like he is from Wisconsin. Maybe next year Amos bumps to heavy since Hilger will be graduated and Buchanan slides in at 197.
  6. Regarding Buchanan, Mineo posted this so it probably won't happen but would be interesting if true.

Vincenzo Pelusi, Franklin & Marshall *I did not include those in this list if they participated in the All-Star Classic (which does not count for the wrestler's records on InterMat or WrestleStat) Most of the wrestlers above are dealing with recoveries from known injuries and we did not expect to see them so far this season anyway.

  9. Devils advocate, let's say they start the dual at 133 and it goes like this: 133: Redding dec Teske 3-0 141: Woods dec Swiderski 3-3 149: Murin dec Johnson 3-6 157: Seibrecht dec Kraisser 3-9 165: Carr dec Kennedy 6-9 174: Broderson dec Brands 9-9 184: Coleman dec Assad 12-9 197: Bastida dec Warner 15-9 285: Cassioppi dec Schuyler 15-12 Going into 125 as the final match, Lee could easily bonus Terukina.
  10. from my elementary School - Jon Trenge from my first high school: Bruce Kelly or Bobby Telford from my second high school: zero D1 wrestlers
  11. I enjoy the Big Ten Plus for the most part although as much as it pains me to side with an industry heavyweight, I think ESPN is probably easiest to use out of all of them. I have a Samsung TV it doesn't have a channel for BTN+. So I have to load it on my phone and then cast it to my TV. Not a big deal in theory, but if I get a text or a call it also comes up on the TV and gets in the way of thr stream. It's easiest to watch on my PC
  12. They could both agree to start at 157 maybe
  13. Yeah because it's a swing of likely bonus points from one direction to the other. Maybe Brands will request to start at 133 so he doesn't have to decide right away and so he can try to get the worse version of Redding and Siwderski off the scale. Obviously ISU would want to avoid that scenario.
  14. 125: Miller fall Harris 6-0 133: Colaiocco dec Schriever 9-0 141: Ferrante dec Bennett 12-0 149: Zapf dec Murin 15-0 157: Artalona dec Siebrecht 18-0 165: Kennedy dec Revano 18-3 174: Incontrera dec Rhodes 21-3 184: Assad maj dec Hale 21-7 197: Warner major dec Urbas 21-11 285: Cassioppi fall Goldin 21-17 Quaker victory
  15. I haven't listened to much wrestling on the radio before. If anyone has any interest, the Cyclone Open has an audio-only feed: Iowa State vs. Cyclone Open - Iowa State University Athletics (cyclones.com)
  16. because of someone else's dominance in a different weight or because you see him going down at 165?
  17. I think O'Toole will get it also. He convincingly wins at the best weight class and he doesn't have injury or weight issues that cause him any material limitations
  18. 149 has been crazy. I feel very uncertain about these predictions, because a lot can change, and a lot will depend on matchups, but roughly project these as AA: 1. John Diakomihalis 2. Austin Gomez 3. Sammy Sasso 4. Caleb Henson 5. Jon Millner 6. Doug Zapf 7. Kyle Parco 8. Paniro Johnson
  19. I used snuff when I lived in Dublin. The tobacco that you put in your nose. Awful stuff. Don't miss it lol
  20. Lewan is just as boring as he is good. Not my favorite style, but he gets it done.
  21. Does this all-star event count toward individual records or its like a "friendly" or something?
  22. I have a fridge full of yellowjackets if you're in socal
  23. my upset pick of the night is Alirez over Cole Matthews
