  1. Man I'd love to see him on the podium one last time, but he looked so beat up from this season.
  2. Unfortunately I follow them too much. My sentiments are a reflection of what @grapevine said before. Rutgers gets hot on the recruiting trail, only for it to not pan out when it's time for those recruits to start. I cheered as loud as anybody when they beat Illinois this season, but until actual strides are made on a consistent basis, three straight losses in the blood round this weekend has crushed my optimism for what comes next. If that projected lineup enters National Duals next season, I honestly expect a quick exit from the bracket for them.
  3. Rutgers 125 - Peterson (???) 133 - Shawver 141 - Olivieri 149 - Clark 157 - Harer 165 - Barbosa 174 - Soldano or hit the portal 184 - Cartagena-Walsh 197 - Casale 285 - Hit the portal Rutgers's descent into the bottom of the B1Gs will continue next year. Peterson is looking to be at risk of hitting the portal, and I am not sure who the hell we will be able to grab for '74 or HWT. Soldano cutting down is more of wishful thinking than anything, as I do not see him as the better option at '84 over SCW. Hope is that Shawver and Olivieri have some sort of fire lit under their ass after a rather disappointing end to NCAA's. Excited to see what Barbosa can bring to 165.
  4. I think there was an interview with Gray after the whole situation with Knox at districts where he said the plan was to do a greyshirt year. Hopefully Rocco puts some muscle on in that year. Otherwise, I can't see just his technique being enough to compete at this level.
  5. Found Minnow's burner account.
  6. That's just a classic Bo Job right there.
  7. Speaking from the perspective of someone who lives in the city, it was pretty great to go on a whim Friday morning and watch a bit! Had a pretty good view from even the 200 level. Getting to Wells Fargo is easy all around, but its isolated location does make it hard to plan for city exploration between sessions (unless you wanna spend the afternoon at LIVE!). Also ends up leading to traffic hell after any sporting event, as I am sure many of you who parked at the arena saw whenever leaving. That being said, it makes me curious to see what another city has to offer for any future tournaments I could possibly attend.
  8. I cannot imagine Bailey leaving Little Rock despite this weekend's results.
  9. I had that one going in my bracket. Never seen Ramirez really "put it together" this time of year.
  10. In honor of Wade Boggs, Ferrari will be attempting to drink 100 beers leading up to Saturday night's finals.
  11. The number of cross-outs on my bracket is laughable at this point...
  12. If I were Jacori, I'd run with the rest of Bob's paycheck to LIVE! Casino before he comes asking for a refund.
  13. The Paniro match was a great way to spend a lunch break. Teemer match is conversely a tough one to come back to work with.
  14. Beautiful takedown from Composto to end that match.
  15. Man this season has been a truly bizarre one for Shawver.
  16. I think Caleb Smith gets Lillendahl when it counts.
  17. Let's see how he adapts to folkstyle first.
  18. Maybe on the academic front, but let's not kid ourselves about who has the better wrestling program right now.
  19. Praying this is the HWT Rutgers lands this offseason; makes for an even more interesting dynamic between Mullen!
  20. Nah there's not enough evidence to suggest this is a troll on his part (outside of maybe the Arnold beef). See: his crashout at B1Gs last year.
  21. 8/10s of Penn State's starting roster seem like really nice guys.
  22. It's funny that him and Ferrari ever entertained the idea of wrestling each other at one point, as they are essentially just 2 sides of the same coin in this regard.
