    I’d say Mullen will get the starting nod prior to the start off ACC duals. He’s likely to get bonus points in most matches which should give him the slot if head to head matches are a toss up

    His VT visit is during the Mizzou dual. VT fans show out for duals. He’ll like the atmosphere. It’s not like PSU or Iowa but VT’s attendance ranks pretty high for a somewhat rural part of Southwest VA.

    VT’s board indicates true freshman Campbell is cutting to 125 to challenge Ventresca. I don’t think VT has true wrestle offs anymore though. Dillon will likely get up to his 5 starts before a decision is made if it’s a close match up.

    Yeah, most of the VT folks knew this but is an awesome opportunity for both programs. I was thinking the buckeyes wouldn’t be on VT’s starting next season for some reason so it’s good to get another quality dual on the schedule. I wish we could get PSU back on our schedule. That was an awesome home match to watch in Blacksburg

    Rumor on the tech board is Taylor is gonna try and flip Burton to Ok State. Hopefully not true but the kid is a stud and his stock is rising

    Trumble has gotten really good. He bulked up too. Wonder if he can make 197 again?

    Yes sir. He’s an accomplished FS guy for sure. He had a very dinged up knee from about January through the ncaa tourney. If he’s healed up, Frayer will have him dialed in for FS. Frayer is a FS coaching genius and stud in his own right.

    Did he ever visit VT? I think he’s a biomed engineering major and VT has a masters option.

    Barraclough is still in the portal too. Either would be an upgrade to Brady.

    I’m interested to see how Andonian does at 74 kg. If he’s got the upper body horsepower, he’ll be a problem for everyone

    VT would be a good landing spot for a good 165 guy. Brady was in the portal but thought I heard he may have withdrew his name.

    Flynn had a lack luster ncaa tourney. Think he was 1-2. He’ll need to develop offensive if he wants to jump levels. Most of his dual wins were 1-2 points or so.

    In the hokie forum someone posted that Coleman Scott might not like the outcome of the hiring decision at OSU. I just glossed over the forum but that one jumped out. No clue if that person has a pulse on what goes in OK but he seemed pretty confident

    If true wonder why he’d give a head coach position for an assistant? Must be more than is publicly known or coincidence that their 174 is transferring to VT too
